Side note... Mike did play in these for a couple of games with the Wizards, but I still don't consider them OG, since 96 was the year of the Jordan 11... just my opinion.

Mesh...would have went off... if they went with the mesh upper it would have complimented the patent leather colorway much much closer plus you have to try pretty hard 2dirtyy...dirty a grey mesh...its pass for me as well....no...mesh no cop....!

Yes Mike did wear these in the early 2000s. I always remember that when I think about the cool grey 11.These are my favorite shoe of all time and plan to get the actual retail authentic version in December. Maybe double up since they match everything. I wonder if the ‘23’ on the back will look the same.

These originally dropped in 01 my senior year of high school...was so hype about them because they were my first pair of Jordan 11 high with patent leather...til the gray upper started to look faded and dusty...then from that point on my energy on cool grey changed to Mike Rich's energy...im cool on them!

The title says it best! These were trash can water in 01 and I’m keeping that same energy 20 years later! Damn that’s scary! Real talk the only reason they sold back in the day was because they were the new patent leather Jordan’s, and this silhouette by far has the fewest colors for it’s popularity! 🤷🏾‍♂️
