I came for the 88 pair of ogs to see how they matched up with the reimagined & I knew they were close but I’m impressed with JB.. they got the shape right, elephant print is nice & new, ankle padding is thin, I’m loving the new pair better than the ogs cuz they’re just fresh with a similar look. Can’t say that about the l&f 1s
I love my pair to bits. They were the last ever pair at my nearest Foot Locker, possibly anywhere, so between these and the Wizards, I had to cop these first. Good thing too, because the Wizards 3s are sitting rn
Have you thought that perhaps the "Elephant print" is just like a fingerprint, as there are never two that are alike? Likewise, one will never find two elephants with the same skin. So, is that a difference or part of the uniqueness of differing characteristics?
I still have my original 1988 white “cement 3” from high school (which we just called “88’s” back then). I’ve never bought any retro or reimagine or whatever because they aren’t the same. For some reason, the elephant print around the two is way too thick or too high.
They literally slimmed that down over the years starting with the 22 fire reds. May not be EXACTLY like the OG’s but it’s clearly evident theyve been doing that. This comment would made more sense in like 2013
I bought some but they say jordan on the bottom of the shoe is it supposed to say Nike?? Can someone tell me if they’re fake or not?? I got them from finish line
Some of those 2018 pairs look like clown shoes. 🍌 At least my BC3s from 2018 have a pretty decent cut of elephant print on the toe box, had to go through a few pairs in stores while they were sitting to get em. Tbh, I dont understand why they just dont go on and make the toebox elephant print super thin like that first example
i didn't realize it until i saw them next to each other in this video but they aged the wrong part on the 2023 pair lol. on the older pairs the part of the sole around the toe is more yellow than the mid sole but on the 2023 pair the mid sole is yellow and the toe part is completely white. my older pairs are all like that too.

If you weren't around wearing a pair of original OGs than don't even compare or even complain about Nike. Because Nike Air is the best. No matter what. Even retro 3s were JBs.
