It looks like we’re going to be getting a lot more of the “Reimagined” style sneakers in the upcoming years, and next on the list is the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement”. We took a look back at its predecessors to see what all has changed since the oringal 1988 release.

for sure. i don’t remember if they ever remade the white/blue ones in 2002-2003 or if it was just the red. i’d love either color but the blue would be great. those are the ones i had as a kid

one detail about the newer “og” remakes is that they kept the nike logo underneath on the sole as well. the reimagined 3 is definitely closer to the actual shape with the higher ankle too. i think this is the first time they made it like that since the original. i’m just basing this off the ones in my hand rn, not sure if this is clear in the video.

Tinker Hatfield came up with the Jumpman logo, not Peter Moore. Jordan was gonna leave Nike after the first 2 Jordans but Tinker saved him from leaving and the AJ3 was the sneaker that did it

This reimagine 3 is fire, so Dale and way better than the Jordan one that they just did. In my opinion of course, LOL love the history lessons Scotty so keep them Rollin. I miss seeing videos like this from you guys. Don’t give me wrong all the sneakercon coverage and all of that is cool but this type of content is what got me following you guys. Honestly the aging on these 3’s are way better executed than the lost and founds. The lost and founds were done so yellow and cracked leather was unnecessary that it makes me want the 2015 chicago even more

11 and 13, were just build different and better, it had more space for the toes, better padding and imo better leather. god fire red 13 and compare to 22 they are just far better.

You kinda need to learn your history as well. When the black cement threes dropped in 1999 or 2000 that’s when they change the whole body of the shoe it’s been ruined ever since and then again you said they skipped over reimagining and re-mastering the twos but the Chicago twos have just been remastered. It’s all about the toolbox.

I prefer a fresh pair of Mike’s I’d like to eat them on my own I wasn’t a fan of the heel collar of the Chicago’s but they did a good job on the white cement threes
