His concept is still very much alive. Every days there’s people calling me trying to sell bogus services, some penny stock or crypto.

He made 1 million a month & was fined 2 million by the SEC. No wonder he thought he was invincible with that kind of 'punishment'.

I get so tired of the glamorizing of cheats, scoundrels and charlatans. It’s all rather sickening how little this guy suffered for his crimes.

And a black man is serving 20 years in prison without parole for selling weed. Make that makes sense.

He bankrupted thousands of small investors,mostly elderly people

Why do they keep saying he had a modest upbringing? Both is parents were accountants and he grew up in the most expensive city. Upper middle class would have been more accurate.

Whenever I hear the SEC called "the watchdog", I laugh almost as hard as Bernie Madoff did.

What I notice about these greedy people is that they waste money. Never using it for anything of substance.

Learn to control your emotions and money, don't let money control you so your wisdom doesn't look foolish. Manage your gifts and don't be in any hostile competition with anyone.

Calling him the Wolf of Wall street, is like saying a minnow stared in Jaws. He was just that, a minnow on Wall street. The real wolves are still RUNNING Wall Street, not just participating. They have since the 1700's.

Lousy 4 years to serve only 22 months😳 Who is worse: the guy or the system? I’ve seen people do less than him get tougher sentences

After getting out of jail he was put on the international speaking Circuit earning millions of dollars a year going around the world telling people how to succeed. Who said crime doesn't pay?

This sounds an awful lot like glorification of despicable people behaving despicably, and bankrupting people like my uncle, who lost his family and disappeared into alcoholism for a couple decades, only to die a few years after turning up. "I didn't trust him, but he was fun to party with." Brilliant.

I will be an average working class man working till i cannot get up in the morning because its what i been doing since the age of 14yrs old. I sleep well at night and do not owe anything to anyone other then the bank. How this conman can steal from folks and ruin the future planned by parents to kids is beyond me. I would be afraid to show my face in public if i was him.

when you steal from common people the authorities will always look the other way, when you cross the line and steal from the rich you go to jail, belfort learned that lesson the hard way.

Lots of wealthy scumbags became rich as a way of dealing with certain personality issues. Money gives them power to do whatever they want.

He embodied lust, avarice, greed you name it and by the sounds of it still does. Imagine living the rest of your life knowing you've stolen the life savingt of hundreds maybe thousands who commited the outrageous act of trusting you?

Belfort preyed on others' greed; the "victims" were enticed by their own greed. Not a defense for Belfort, but absence victims' greed, Belfort would've remained an unknown.

Some scammer's are masterminds. They are educated, well spoken, well manner, and well groomed. They come with smiles. Making their clients feel comfortable. You sign paperwork from them. You give them your money. You don't see your money again😒❕️.

I would've never watched the wolf of Wall Street if I knew it was based on a true story. I personally been conned many times and would hate to see someone glorifies it

That movie Wolf of Wall Street was about the most perverted, disgusting thing I have ever seen. Complete and total lack of any kind of a moral compass. The only thing he had that I covet is that house on Long Island, that looks beautiful and classy, nothing like him.

Besides the criminal activity he's worth learning from. What's interesting is that these success stories aren't thorough but I get it not there place to be. I love the learning programs that go deeper then just saying he out sold everyone Like include the words he used, the scripts, the psychology, the specific actions that lead to sales. This is what fascinates me.

"Land of second and third chances" does imply that people have had a chance in the first place. What chance do most of us really have, with the "wolves" out there, the sharks circling, the vultures waiting to pick over what's left- all awaiting the unassuming, those who make the "mistake" of trusting another person who appears to be helpful. Not all of us invest (or have money enough to do so), but what these guys do really affects all of us. It affects the way we view one another, with concepts like basic decency, generosity of spirit and the benefit of the doubt being lost or abandoned as being the territory of "suckers." Every time white-collar crime is waved away as being all but victimless, we make the world a little less empathetic. It DOES matter, and the money doesn't come out of thin air. Somebody with less power- less money to start- always seems to end up paying.

It never occurred to me- why not, I'm not sure- that addicts on Wall Street might be using, in part, to assuage feelings of guilt. This is part of addiction: trying to suppress feelings and memories, often of our own behavior. (The "F-its," I call this, trying to not care.) It should be obvious to anyone that this would create a vicious cycle, particularly in a person who is not naturally a psychopath. It's easy to lie to yourself about why you're using, too. You may think you're a badass, but really you are powerless, and hurting on some level because you really DO care. Wall-street trader is only one of a number of professions in which drug abuse is rampant, encouraged, or part of the culture (include alcohol, and the list expands). Some of these jobs are lucrative; none are worth your soul- and eventually your life. Please consider this when planning your career, and take care with matters of conscience- as suppression of conscience "after the fact" doesn't work so well.

Why all the distracting background noise?

He uses his straight line system to this day , he sells it but it’s more of a learning system/advice to growing business and how to sell, since he’s a natural born salesman. He’s more into cryptocurrency , has a social media following such as Instagram , RU-vid , tiktok etc.

He is the type that has tarnished the images of public speakers. I don't trust them cause they talk too much and say things like ''take action'' Here's a very criminally minded human being! I always ask for their backgrounds, not to judge but to decide for me.

Money isn't a drug, but the things it can buy are. (Boats, Cars, Planes, Real Estate, Women / Men, Power, Clothes, Land, Drugs, Connections......)
