In this clip, Jordan Belfort talks about a couple of scenes from the infamous film based on his memoir called "The Wolf of Wall Street." When DJ Vlad asks Belfort about the scene when he was wearing a wire for the feds, he confirms it to be true. Then, the New York native outlines what really happened and what the film's producers added to the on-screen adaptation to make it more appealing to the viewers. As the discussion continues, Belfort explains why he agreed to wear a wire in the first place, why he decided to illegally inform his friend (Danny Porush) about the wire with a note and why his friend betrayed him, regarding the note. Later on in the clip, the legendary business man explains why he was charged with money laundering and securities fraud.

I had a teacher who worked federal law enforcement and he told us that in his entire career there wasn’t single person he ever met that wouldn’t rat when there was 20+ years on the line. Brothers, friends, cousins, not a single a person. Talking tough is easy but you hang a 30 year prison sentence over someone’s head and they’ll tell you whatever the fuck you want to hear. Your secrets are never safe.
