Based on the pick ups, our d line looking dominant yet again, but we need more oline depth. The pass protection has to improve and get better. I understand our dna is defense first, but it doesn’t mean anything if we’re always in 3rd and long situations and oline struggling to block. We’re going to have invest in purdy long term and dudes that can hold the dline in pressure situations

Honestly, no fans/ media even expected Elliot to even make the team last year. He hadn't had even a single great play, let alone a great game in the previous 3 years. What the coaches saw in him was beyond me. Just a big body that was hard to push out of the way, I guess. But he actually showed out a little bit last year. Again, not great but definitely serviceable. Had his best year as a pro. As for losing him to the 9ers, no big deal. Just a rotational piece that's easily replaced. Still, hope he continues to improve for you 9ers.
