that crowd acted like they had to pay way too much to get in.😏 the internet has caused people to lose their minds....to see a guy shorter than 6.5 doing windmills with their head at the rim ought to get some love! Maybe Everybody Hates Chris should have been jumping over a brick wall at 56 inches or sumpin.... great upload
That dunk Staples does is the signature dunk of Stretch in Nba Street Vol.2, I always thought it would be impossible to do a 360 between the legs in real life
Jordan Kilgannon is definitely one of my favorite dunkers of all-time, he came out of nowhere and took over the game it started bringing in checks. Although Guy Dupuy is the best dunker in the world.
Guy Dupuy is not even close to this guy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MBe1s3GSnaw.html or this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4PR6fNHBOes.html
Daniel Kabeya jumps the highest of all 4, however he lacks dunking skills. He has crazy hops, he barely runs. Just approaches the dunk on a chill and still manages to get really high, but he is simply not a gifted dunker (just a gifted jumper). He gets exposed at big stages. He's not on the same level as the other 3
Ivan Zapata something odd with that ball he tossed. Looked like DK tossed it waaay high and it only bounced 4 foot off the ground like it was half inflated
Team Android Athletics totally, he start to get a dunk package, and, for all the people saying he can only windmill, however, that’s the best windmill I have ever seen.
how do u rush a contest with 10k up for grabs? lame. too bad Staples didn't make his last dunk, first two were really nice, was expecting him to get robbed after those two went down first try. j-kills gets it done.
ya they messed it all up by taking away one of the dunks in the finals....overall definitely a weak contest, considering who was all in it....i still have some more footage tho at least
imo one thing that's lacking is a little power. i think one factor of dunking that's underestimated is how much force it's put down with. like think windmill like daniel kabeya's first dunk vs a windmill from someone like zion williamson (obvs huge difference in height hand size and everything else). i think the fact that zion punches it through with so much force adds a wow factor
Maybe we shouldn't be so harsh to criticize why he only played a few dunk styles... Its a hard career getting knee injuries easily.. Earning for living not easy
it sucked sooooo hard being there and not dunking...i almost got a dunk in jeans, but was just being stupid and didn't warm up properly or anything and my knee started to hurt
other dunks he has done in contests: behind the back, behind the back scorpion, krown, 360 scoop, dunk over a car, between the legs over 3 people, windmill elbow hang with his right hand, windmill elbow hang with his left hand, karl malone cradle over someone, side of the backboard double elbow hang, and a few others i can't remember off the top of my head
Everyone does the same dunks - they are good at their own dunks so why not? Also, we seen the Vince Carter arm in the hoop about 20 years ago..........Everyone in every dunk contest needs to up their game. Even the NBA contest rarely has anything different. Add some flare at least and showmanship.
To me seeing how high Jordan's feet, as well as the guy at the end, are off the floor is as impressive as any dunk they do. You just don't realize how high these guys get just watching a dunk. I had a 39" vertical 25 years ago, but these guys could probably get that from a standing position, lol.
GoldenEra 4ever the other guy is Daniel Kabeya, he has a 55 inches vertical with what you call a running vertical, but he barely runs, I wonder how that is possible but that really is crazy
Jordan is already getting boring with his dunks, but still they are impressive because if you pay attention notice how short his arms are that makes doing any dunk so much harder.
very lame dunk contest tbh Chris doesn't jump that high to jump over 2 vertical wise. His long arms bail him out when doing his signature 360 between the legs. Very lame dunk contest. No hype, no wow dunk, too many misses
Chris has actually done that dunk a few times, including contests, but just messed this one up, and then the event people screwed him up a little bit because they were saying he only had one more attempt after that one, when that one wasn't even really an attempt, so he switched to 360 under both...it was weird
new material is mostly for dunk sessions. dunk contests are usually when you go with your routine dunks, because money is on the line, and you don't want to go too risky
The format of dunk contests has to change, thats what makes it so dry these days. It should be a rounds system where each dunker gets 3 attempts (NO CLOCK) in a sort of layup line like at the start when they were warming up(if you make ur dunk first try then you can one up yourself and try a better dunk depending on what others do), no scores for each dunk just the best dunk wins at the end of the round ,second best dunk and third best also progress to the next round. Adding a clock puts unnecessary pressure on a dunker, the scoring system is flawed because there's no way to differentiate between top score dunks e.g a btl over someone is a 10 but so is a btl from the free throw line which is clearly more impressive, so it should just be best dunk should win, 1st 2nd 3rd not 0-10.
unfortunately, people who run these events really don't know anything about dunking, and rarely listen to myself or the dunkers when we have suggestions....
Cool contest but I feel like if these contests are ever going to make sense we need some sort of accurate scoring system or judges who can actually dunk or used to be able to dunk. No one seems to know how difficult some of these dunks really are.
I’ve been doing weighted Plyometrics for 3 weeks now and my legs are completely dead every day. After I’m done with this program I’m gonna take a week off and jump through the roof.
Yeah ? Watch the one where he jumps over a car and reverse dunks it. I guarantee you've never seen a dunk like this before. He's better than even Zach Levine
Not being picky jus saying this horse has been beat to death I seen this dunk like 5 year or so ago yet he still does it as if nobody has ever seen it time to get the other 99 dunks out then all I’m saying...
it's his signature dunk...just look at professional wrestling...those dudes do the same signature move at every city in America, THOUSANDS of times, and the crowd still goes wild every time...that's what the fans pay to see. Obviously, dunking isn't wrestling, but still...there are plenty of other parallels
Often i think People dont appreciate how hard some Dunks are jumping over 2 People is much harder then a normal 360 but i believe what looks the best is the best and you should try to dunk the Ball with some Power it must look Aesthetic + the Ball must get dunked in the Bucket with Power ..
Jordan Southerland would win this with ease... But he did not get enough number of votes, crazy. And what's with Kabeya? He forgot how to run and jump? All his other videos clearly on lower rims. Staples did perform very well, shame he missed last dunk
Kabeya wasnt never a good dunker already.only a high jumper. Best dunk he can do is probably eastbay so wasnt hype for him already And yeah wish southerland was in.
Piotr Kacprzak ahah, bro, Kabeya is the only person with a legit 50 inches vertical, and now 55 inches with injuries... I don’t know you personnally, but, instead of trash talking about him, you should learn from him. And I love how you say he forgot to run and jump, dude, he barely runs and gets his head over the rim.
