Jordan Kilganon defeats Jordan Southerland in the finals in a contest that also included: Isaiah Rivera, Jonathan Clark, Dan Gross, Courtland Holloway, and Tyler Currie! Shoutout to @BallDawgs for putting on this great event!
I wish judges could not see each other's scores given. Peer pressure is real here. Not saying outcome in this event was wrong, but blind scoring I think is best in any competition.
This was a super helpful video. Showing “3rd dunk attempt” and stuff like that gives you a better understanding of the scores and such. Thanks for the good video. Also idk why people were saying kilganon shouldn’t have won it. His dunk definitely was better. 1footgod should of jumped from free throw line and landed it first try if he wanted to beat that dunk by Jordan.
Jordan Kilganon is the most consistent BUT I have to say 1footgod alley hoop over the kids is spectacular and JClarks summersalt dunk is the most creative. They are all great dunkers and waaay better than the NBA.
@@brianh4669 brian im with you. Im 23 and can windmill some days, but can always do a 360. I see kids in the gym attempting crazy stuff to wow the crowd all the time. But youre right a miss is a miss. Anyone can get close on these dunks and make them look pretty but thats not the point.
when you edit out the misses it kindoff feels like kilganon should have lost, but he deserved the win in my opinion he was clearly the most consistent dunker there
Next time get a good sponsor and just split the reward money equally amongst the dunkers if you already manage to assamble such a lineup and just make this a dunk show... many more tougher dunks will be completed and the guys can just relax and go crazy, instead of calculating risk every attempt and turning it into a game of showmanship. Just my two cents
Here’s an interesting idea for dunk contest. 30mins of dunk lines. Dunkers can decide on X amount (say like 4 or 6 or something) of the best dunks they make during the session to be scored and nominate specifically if they want a completed dunk scored Highest tally wins.
It’s called a reverse windmill 1 foot version (vince Carter’s windmill) because he can’t do it exactly off 1 so he had to switch it up yet it’s still a reverse windmill
I also feel like contests should ditch the 1-10 number system and just rank who had the best dunks in that round (with some crowd input), because two perfect 10 rated dunks may not actually be equally good, ranking system means there's no cap on a dunk.
the big problem is that most contests only score from 6-10 for some dumb reason...1-10 wouldn't be horrible...but ya, ideally (if it were up to me) I would wait until I saw ever dunk, and then score them after, so that I could rank them properly
@@DunkademicsOfficial exactly it makes so much more sense to do it that way, where you can gauge how good a dunk is relative to others but no one does it like that frustratingly.
@@RA-hf9uq Kwe Parker and Myree Bowden have done some pretty insane scoops (just not off the side of the backboard)....but the pass doesn't really add much to the dunk in my opinion
@@DunkademicsOfficial I'll take your word for it. I'll clarify that his dunk is the best I've seen on video. I have no idea how all these dunks look in person, but I'm sure Bowden dunking didn't even look human up close
i want the Dominick vs jordan dunk contest style .. where every dunk is game legal .. they should have separate dunks contests for jumping over cars and all that shit and then have ones with real game dunks
Jordan Kilganon deserved this. 0 Showoff but 100 Talent. Rest all were showoffs, one dunk and dance it off, crip walk and shit. Jordan Kilganon is the GOAT 🐐
Yeah true. Just saying jump training and dunking is there main focus (obviously) it's not like basketball if you think about it otherwise they're awesome.
I keep saying this, because they all be doing the same stuff over and over while these guys here getting creative af Killganon with his behind the back no look 5:58 Jonathan Clark doing flips and going up with the ball was insane 4:42 Dan Gross with the missed attempt just like killgannon except through the legs while going up and I was hoping for it to go in I'm bamboozled
Thanks for this video and also thanks to those who recommended Rosie for her good works. Y'all have to know that making money digitally is the main key to survival now, as the government is hesitant on helping poor masses. I also recommend Rosie to people who wishes to earn huge proflt.
I had been living under average financial earnings until I came in contact with Rosie investment she’s a professional broker, life have been better afterwards.
The best dunk I ever seen was this dude in a chicken costume jumped so high he landed with both feet on the rim and he acted like he was gonna lay an egg but when he said "Brawk" the ball came out instead.
dunk contests need a better scoring system, something like a difficulty score and a execution score. Cant have all the dunks get either 9s or 10s all the time. Should take a page out of diving for the scoring.
@@DunkademicsOfficial yes but when judges give a score right after the dunk it's more entertaining, like crowd is involved and hyped up and etc., it is a big part of a culture already and without it dunk show could be less flashy or interesting for people
He didn’t even do his best dunk (the lost and found). Imagine being good enough to consistently win with your second best dunk. A dunk that so much belongs to you I’ve literally never even seen another person attempt it. The scorpion is HIS dunk.
how have you never even seen another person attempt it lol yes its his dunk he invented it but plenty of other people have done that dunk and completed it like in dunk league for example.
@@slamazu9232 I think he means thats his signature Dunk. Which means when you see that Dunk you immediatly think of him. Similair to the Peekaboo Boxing style when you see that style the first person you think of is Mike Tyson.
