Strictly geographically talking, you are right. Land is called Palestine. As it is mentioned in Plutarch, Herodotus etc. Word Israel refers to people. My mistake. About politics and ongoing regional dispute, I am not going to express my opinion. Let's just say I believe everyone deserves peace and right on being free. Peace be with you.
I mentioned Israel as historic land in context of Moses/Musa final journey. Context of modern dispute of ocuppied Palestine/Israel is not something I should, as a foreigner discuss. If there would be no expansionism of Europeans in early XX century, probably there would be no dispute today. I wish you solve your disputes without future interference of foreign imperial powers.
