No model is entirely right or wrong in absolute terms anyway, even if they surely offer interesting perspectives from an analytical and socio-historical standpoint. Nevertheless, I don't see that transitioning from one model to another would have significantly changed the current situation regarding the alleged patriarchy. It wouldn't alter the current reality, our experiences, news, statistics, or the discourse and silence in our society - a society we have a more solid basis to speak clearly about.
