Unfortunately, I had to cut 2 minutes out of this video to prevent it from being blocked. I'm sorry. As always, thanks for watching and supporting Jordan!
I've been wondering. I think Regina was good enough to be in the final four. I was not lucky enough to have seen that season, so what happened. How far did she go?
I really love their duet, it feels like they're performing at a concert rather than competing against each other. So much power in their voices, so beautiful...
Regina has the biggest gap between the biggest voice and the sweetest personality. They are both so strong in their own right. She knew she was done for, but she is such a good singer. Jordan is objectively better, you'll hear no arguments from me, but Regina is subjectively my favorite singer who has ever been on this show. She is a growling tenor sax personified.
When Adam got so excited because Gwen stole Regina and kept her in the contest... you realized how humble those coaches are. Really a big fan of them and how they are fan of this people they picked to support on the show. 4 beautiful souls!
Right, still rewatch this performance constantly since it happened and that's always been my favorite moment from this battle. The entire song was great and had many great moments, but this one never fails to give me shivers. I think it was a pretty even battle, but there was a moment or two where it was like "Jordan won it at ____," but this was the moment when Regina said, "I'm not done yet."
I love the way Adam talks to and treats Jordan. He was so good with both Jordan and Christina Grimmie, always gave them the recognition they deserved and was honestly trying his hardest to help them be successful for themselves. Christina was one of the most successful contestants and she was taken in the beginning of her journey into fame, she would have gone so far. Jordan is so unique and still my go-to when I want to be cheered up. He is just such a beautiful person.
Jenn Blue, thanks for posting this. This is the best battle round ever on the Voice. It showcases both of their uniqueness and talent. Jordan for me is a once in a lifetime talent. Whew!
"Jordan can win The Voice, I...I have no doubt in my mind. 'You are gifted', 'Thank you for believing in me'." Boy did he ever win! Kicked some ass along the way too!! Great stuff
4:02-4:06 gave me chills and I'll be honest I almost cried.... Jordan is so talented. He was destined for singing and it was like every time he went against someone they got beat so badly. I would say he is the best singer I have ever listened to in any competition.
I meant the note or pitch he hit at 3:52, just before quickly transitioning to lower octave-- I set the time a bit earlier than that .. It's definitely amazing
Right, but his voice is rare. I think what makes it more noticeable to me is the contrast between regina's attempt of that same sound progression and his, that's what makes it seem more impressive
Sure I come back to this all the time Dr. Wang - one of the finest battles ever - for the 'get out my face girl' starting at 3:40...both truly talented singers...and I love the chemistry of Marion Sophia Dyrvik vs. Thomas Løseth - Say Something...
Regina ist wie ein Sturm, der über Jordan hinwegfegt. Aber er versteht es zu antworten, um daraus ein ebenbürtiges Battle zu machen. In jedem Fall großartig.
If Jordan Smith hadn't come across this season, Regina would have definitely won it. Unfortunately for Regina, the greatest singer in history came across her door.
