The answer is most definitely yes.. We lost our daughter 12/2012 and I recently had the honor of reaching out and being present for a coworker who lost her son.. I considered it a privilege under the circumstances.. Let beauty come out of ashes..
Jordan Smith Version is 1000x times better❤️❤️. The Original Creator and The Original Singer💪🔥. What An Amazing Voice❤️❤️. This Song Is So Beautiful❤️❤️.
I still can’t figure out why he gave this to Celine to record instead of putting it on his own album. This is absolute gold. She’s great, but his voice is unparalleled.
Because he really didn't have a choice. He wanted to sing it himself for the movie but they wouldn't let him. They wanted a big name to sing it. If he would have just put it on his own album, it never would have gotten the recognition that it did.
Jordans version was used in the blueray directors cut. In the theatrical release and the standard blueray release the band "Awha" song "Take on me" was used. I think it's a great credit to Jordan to have written this song. It's great street cred😁too.
He sings it so much better than Celine. More emotional but not aa over the top. Her phrasing and throaty riffs and runs are too much for such a tender song like this.
There's a scripture verse that talks about God giving us Beauty for Ashes, strength for fear, morning for gladness, and peace for despair. That's where Jordan got this idea from.
