Jordan Thompson facing Nick Kyrgios serve : "Fu** my life !" (Davis Cup Finals 2019 Practice)

Facing Nick Kyrgios serve can be very frustrating. Ask to Jordan Thompson who yelled a funny "Fu** my life" after 4 aces in a row.

Firstly nicks serve is absolutely world class elite level. Jordan is not really known as a “returner” so he naturally stands no chance going against an elite serve like nicks.
@kneadsensual7366
@kneadsensual7366 4 года назад
Sorry but he is not "elite level." Elite level means grand slams. Until you win one, you're not at all serious. The only thing that matters at "elite level" is can you win a grand slam. Not a fucking bullshit clip of you serving against a nobody. Nick is a fountain of physical talent wasted within a weak mind and a whiny spirit. I've never seen such a baby complainer with so much talent. It's painful to watch. One day maybe he'll grow up.

He's got a top 5 serve in the game right now. He's up there with Isner & Federer (yes Fed doesn't have the same power but the way he can paint the lines is soooo good)
@MrPatrickbuit
@MrPatrickbuit 3 года назад
Fed has the best "Height to greatness of serve" ratio. His serve is as good as Kyrgios' but he's almost 10cm shorter. Sure Isner and Karlovic have better serves, but the dudes are massive. Much easier to hit a good serve at that height (still not saying it's easy. Just easier.)
@ddt8883
@ddt8883 3 года назад
People say Fed doesn't have power, but he was blasting 125-129mph left and right against Novak at Nitto in 2019. Not the crazy power, but still a pretty strong serve. You are correct though, his spot serving makes his serve as deadly as any. That's why he had 50 aces against the greatest returner ever in the 2015 Wimby match.
@MrTresto
@MrTresto 3 года назад
@@MrPatrickbuit In the current game maybe. But at the same height of 6'1", Sampras had a better serve. He had disproportionately long arms for his height to be fair... so better angles and lever... And two first serves.. Not to discredit Federer though, his precision and masking are amazing, his serve is underrated if anything. It's just that Sampras serve... omg...
@mightbefire

I have trained on the court next to Jordan and he gets pissed. Threw my ball over the fence which was very nice. But he threw it a bit too far from me. He also hit my favourite player Feli Lopez in the balls in a doubles match on court 8 at the Sydney International. The next week he played Lopez in singles at the Aussie Open which i was also in attendance. I cheered for Lopez despite Jordan living quite close to me. Jordan then beat Lopez. I have quite a mixed relationship with Jordan. Hahaha he is a great guy doing extremely well on the tour. Its so Sydney Hills of him to get so vocal i love it.
