Love you the Zions. I really enjoyed the the cushioning and use them for out doors. The fit was tts for me but I ended up going up a half because it pinched my pinky toe.
Got it for 70 euros on sale, so super stoked, and the zoom strobel is definitely a nice improvement compared to oldschool shoes... Comfort is top tier.
I found the cushion setup to be nice and plush for me @ 240 lbs. The problem was the forefoot little straps giving me a Tailor's Bunion in my right foot. Which I now still have. Also my foot kinda slid inside the shoe on hard cuts. I passed it down to my son.
Yesss. It's great for shifty players. I have 2 pairs of this shoe and definitely recommend it. During the season I was using 6 shoes regularly. (2x Zion1, 2x Ky7, 2x Drose Son of Chi). All performed great for being a shifty lightweight player. The Zion1's give you a subtle bounce, firm and responsive..I'd say the shoe is built for hard explosive plants. The shoe performance gives you nice energy return and that propulsion feeling when you are attacking downhill. Just a note: I used a CF insole in all 6 pairs of these game shoes (the rigid insole gives the Zion1 extra torsional support).
