The few that do want to be active are bottlenecked by a few at the top. Leon, colby, and masvidal were all being difficult. Wonderboy been taking names between broken hands, Gilbert is active aswell. Vicente is active. Woodley deserves atleast some credit for how active he's been
@Stevie Toscanini A lot of champs take long breaks between fights because they have options other fighters don’t and it extends their time in the limelight. A ufc champion can pursue other endeavors outside of the sport and make supplementary income. Look at all the stuff Woolley was involved in when he was champ. I don’t like us man but there’s no denying the guy isn’t resting on his laurels and is focused and cleaning out the division

Journeyman. Usman wins 50-45 again. Askren made him famous, literally, and Jorge let all go and lost the momentum with inactivity and political garbage tweets. This comes from a former Masvidal fan. I even like Colby more now.

One thing Jorge was spot on about : Gilbert dropping Usman and then letting Usman recover by laying down for 2 mins instead of immediate getting up even if he took some punches getting up
He’s a 3rd degree black belt he was looking for usman to come in his guard. That was kamaru being aware and recognizing that’s what Gilbert wanted and cleared the cob webs like that and just stood over him kicking his legs and stalling to recover. The ref would have called a break in the action and stood it up if kamaru was just standing there he was staying busy ENOUGH so he could recover.
