Jorge has been around for ages and we always knew he was a bad ass. He's getting famous though now just like Conor did, sleeping people. If you have start qualities and you are sleeping people, the sky's the limit. He can't get as famous as Conor but he can get pretty close. If Masvidal just wins this fight it will be crazy. He doesn't have to sleep Usman, he has to just win, and then he fights Conor for 170 strap and is set for life. Conor gets to go for his third strap vs a striker, you bet your ass Conor is taking that fucking fight. That will be his best chance to capture that 170 belt. Diaz is gonna be pissedddddd though as he no doubt will want that 170 shot, but he won't get it. He has to beat Usman though and that's gonna be tough.

He just cried his heart out over his cousin being killed by the Man, and this man goes ALONE to face Hector in front of his entire nation and army, and collect his body. And he was still cold, Collected and never fought emotionally. He was much too skilled for Hector. Thats a normal cut for alot of wrestlers. But you're right I hope he doesnt get too drained. Luckily they get a day to recover. In wrestling we had to wrestle like 2 hours after making weight lol that was awful.
Ronda Rousey once cut 15 pounds in a day just to prove a point to her team when she was coaching TUF. 20 pounds in 6 days should not be that big of a deal for a professional fighter who knows what he is doing

I met Masvidal in person and he was anything but a people person. One hell of a fighter, though. It reminded me why I don’t want to meet the celebrities that I follow.

Once again, the respect that Chael has for UFC and fighters, and visa versa, is evident for all to see. His excitement that Jorge reached out is clear and Jorge, as much of a BMF that he is, was clear in his support of Chael. Fight Island just became the biggest show of 2020 and Jorge is getting paid to baptise people! Win win!
For everyone who's criticizing Chael for calling him George; he goes by that name as well. Dustin Poirier has been his teammate for years and still calls him George.
Jorge can be pronounced in English to sound like George. Jorge is basically just George spelled with a J, you say it how its spelled. I worked with a guy who's name was Jorge but he always pronounced it "George" I dont think Masvidal is going to get worked up about this though. Its not like being called Marty Fakenewsman, Ben Asscream, or COVID COVINGTON lol.
Sarkkinator cuz people don’t even know that GSP’s George pronunciation would be different. Everybody knows Jorge is a Latino name and Masvidal himself emphasized the correct pronunciation in this interview

It’s an amazing card tbh I don’t think Masvidal made this card but definitely made it 10x better! Jorge and Usman Holloway and Volk Aldo and Yan Namajunas and Andrade VanZant Oezdemir It’s one of the most stacked cards I’ve seen from the UFC!
Yeah this is a good replacement. Colby keeps talking about he wants it. I'm sure he does but it would be career suicide for him if he lost a 2nd time . I just think Usmans wrestling and gas tank is going to be too much for jorge. But Jorge is so fucming tough . His striking is beyehr than Usmans ALLLL DAY. He can do this !!!

@@c_low5392 No they're not. Most of these fighters have been training to be professionals since they were small. Many of these guys haven't even been in street fights.

@@b.h.7430 Whether you like him or not, he's got my respect for taking the fight. Everybody was shitting on him, saying that he's scared when he was asking for more money. I bet there isn't many fighters out there that would sign the contract against a beast like Usman without having a full training camp. He saved the main event and that's all we should care about.

I have never clicked so fast on a Chael Sonnen video! This was the best interview this week. Chael was genuinely happy and Jorge seems to be on a mission from God. This was awesome!
