Just straight tears, finally waking up the last couple of monts after being real depressed for 3 years. Can't wait to experience those classic thuishaven vibes again 🤙🏽

Sometimes using Shazam is not a good thing to list tracks... 0:07:45 is not David Moleon... this track is Marco Carola Question 9th. Techno anthem from 2000´s
Great Joris for uploading this session, nowadays it's rare to see a top dj playing on vinyl except papa sven, you should upload the first part, it doesn't matter if it's not perfect, here we value talent and musical selection, greetings from Spain
@@jorisvoorndj I hope you’ll play vinyl at more clubs in your upcoming gigs. That would be an apotheosis. Can’t wait to see you in Madrid on 14th october and I hope with a bag full of records 😋
Your set and the atmosphere at Thuishaven were beyond believe. I noticed the problems you had with the turntables, but the first three hours were still fantastic. The way you maintained the flow despite technical issues and fixing the turntables on the fly is unbelievable. One of the very best sets I witnessed this year ❤
I can still remember the first time I heard Gat Decor “Passion” in a club - that bassline ❤ Hard to believe that was 30 years ago! Probably older than most of the people in the crowd! 😂
My god, man. As someone who is nostalgic for year 2000-2006 days, this hit me with all kind of good feels. This hit all the right spots for me. Thank you so much for such a great set!
When you're looking through your vinyl behind the decks, what are you trying to decide? It seems like you are not sure what to play next. Do you make up the set on the spot? It's very interesting. We don't have this where I live so it's great to see your videos, thanks.
you really let these records breathe, the restraint & patience here should be a lesson for every dj. even on a controller & laptop there's something to be said for letting a track play out & being really precise about the next selection.
I always liked Joris Voorn but now i trully respect him. What a champ!!!! Playing on Vinyl is extremely physical! (besides the more obvious, Beatmatching without visual or electronic assist etc)His fitness is right up there with his enormous talent! Well done!!!!
Joris being sooooouuuu damn versatile at this set!!! Its amazing the way he mixes minimal high tech and progressive tech on most of his sets... ...but now surprisingly!!! he puts all his creativeness to mix techno with variants of old school acid, french house, tribal, detroit, old school progressive and still continue!!! Such a master piece🙌
Solo. Hay. Un calicativo.....de la vieja escuela. Con vinilo. Vuscando uno a uno el siguiente disco. Entre. 300. No con ordenador. I las mexclas. Perfevtas
As you have written Joris „ an eclectic set“ - so touching and the warmth sound of Vinyl. Please more Sets like this. And we know, why those wonderful „songs/composings“ are called classics- ‚cause they are a CLASS of their own“ Thank you❤❤❤
This set is incredible! More than amazing!🚀🚀🚀 In this set we can appreciate all the "mastery" of Mr. Joris Voorn. 🙌🏻 Congratulations! Thank you so much for this amazing set of classic sounds! We want part 1! 😁👍🏻😉 We want part 1! 😁👍🏻😉 @jorisvoorn
This set reminds me of the good ol' Sundays at La Rocca with Marko, as well ending with such pieces as Bronski Beat... Fabulous times ! This is a piece of art Joris ! Love it !
Joris, I never heard anybody closing his set with Bronski Beat! ❤ Great idea and it really gives me goosebumps. I don't know if you heard about the fatal attack of a young gay boy here in Münster who was attacked at the Christopher Street Day in our city. He died a few days later. As long as queer people are attacked in public, we need to hear Bronski Beat and all the others who stood up for the queer community ever since. So thank you for picking this record. 🌈
wauw, de flow, de techniek, geen beat en transitie gemist joris. truly a master of your art. en eindigen met de 12” versie van bronski beat, episch, dank!!
@@cs_kpe actually is the 12" inch Original Extended... you know, what you listen or know is the RADIO versión which is shorter for Radios, most common version for the masses, and back in the day DJs used to get and play the Extended, that came available for DJs only on the 12" Single. Although you used to find the vinyl at stores at that time. As it happens until today! The vinyl was exquisite cause used to came with more elaborated versions! 😅😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5KcMQ7VcSLs.html
Fantastic set, I love seeing the Deejays work in their natural way in the booth, without Rekordbox or mixing programs, their technique is demonstrated, which a large minority are not currently trained to do, great show Joris, great Deejay
These stuggles sound all to familiar, a lot of venues are not used to djs playing on turntables anymore. I played on the most shitty belt drive! turn tables, on inflatable pillows, turntables on a swing, on wobbly tables but most off all on very bad calibrated turn tables. Stuff like this makes your dj set pretty hard. Kudos for still delivering an awesome set. And Steve Stoll - Begin with dub.... What a track!!
great artist, Joris I love your way of understanding music, the same thing you play with vinyl that makes you a session with analog synthesizers that you play with the laptop.
Od paru dni szukam prawdziwej dobrej muzyki techno już straciłem nadzieję....na szczęście natrafiłem na Ciebie... Dziękuję... Jesteś najlepszym DJ na całym youtube!!! You are best
@Joris Voorn my awesome stage it was in A'dam when I was being in 97/ 98 before I have been in Manchester 97/96 in Sankey soup .I seen the chemist brothers Cox, svent vaat, Laurant Garniet, and the answer djs at this time. In A'dam I have to be in Friday or Saturday in Paradiso, Melkweg, tracebuda, etc.All this time I remember you playing the best songs for me it was like having be in A'dam. Thanks the doctor joris voorn. Ps I'm a dj too. Astiubrelift. We're you in 97/98 ? Working?

As I listen to this incredible set, while I'm drawing, Underworld "Dark Train" kicks in at 47:03 ... That is amazing! I thank you for the smile on my face Joris.
Maybe it's just my era, but I haven't heard Passion, Access and Age of Love dropped in one set for a very, very long time and boy.... Didn't they sound absolutely amazing!!!!! Thankyou buddy, truely 👍
Hi Joris, for years I have classified you in the division of commercial DJ. Here you prove the opposite. Keep it up, save the vinyl and stay healthy. Greetings from the DJ, who has never become known🔆
What an awesome Vinyl Set Joris, so many old classics !!! Played one of my favorite tunes DJ Misjah & DJ Tim -Access! Love your shirt, In order to dance was a great compilation under R&S records🔥🔥🔥
Man this brought back a lot of memories! I had to check and see if still had some of these in my vinyl collection. You definitely reached back to with a lot of great 90's tracks here. I have to know what in the world 1:42-1:55 are! Those tracks are stuck in my head right now.......
@@stal303 You are a great man Justin! Thank you! Buying this one if it is available on Beatport now. Surprised it's not a Joris Voorn remix.... Have quite a few of those.
Sorry Joris. Je overgangen zijn te wisselvallig en je haalt te snel de energie uit een nummer. Het is erg van de hak op te tak. Je bent te veel een laptop dj geworden.
Just crazy how good you are both with the mixing and music selection. Absolute perfection! Two more things occurred to me on the fourth listening of this set: It adds so much to the experience to see Joris mixing and the folks to enjoy themselves. Other than that the shirt is really cool😂
