My kids just walked in and said dad why are you smiling like the joker and then I unplugged my headphones and let them listen and now we all smiling like a bunch of jokers.
Joscho, do you know how blessed you are? Yes, I know you've worked our butt off getting here, but this kind of talent doesn't fall off of a banana boat every day or two.
Good Lord ... the "fine art of paraphrasing", indeed!! ... I smiled when he quoted Mancini, but when he got 'round to James Bond I snorted my coffee out my nose ....
‘Flight of the Pink Panther’ 🤠 The best thing about this is vicariously enjoying the fun you are having ‼️ I couldn’t play The Happy Farmer as confidently as you are doing here.
I haven't seen or heard this level of virtuosity with equally breathtaking musicality, taste, accessibility and sheer joy in making music in a very long time. Rahsaan Roland Roland Kirk comes to mind. A rare talent indeed. Bravo!
@@nikakivanovitch6114 Go play in your bedroom then. People are paying him to get impressed and entertained so why wouldnt he show his skills? Go listen to Django or Angelo Debarre and tell me they didnt showoff. I would play circles around you with my guitar so shut the fuck off you narrow minded slavic fuck
He makes those strings bow to his every command, they sing out their soul and weep in a deep lament of willing obedience. When genius meets extreme ability, utterly intoxicating. Some sexy playing by the bass player too!
the pink panther in between excellent Joscho .... the gipsy pump is done by a machine man and only with the thumb ! What about the bass man , fantastic , many thanks guys ...
He is toying with us - I can't believe how good he is. Is he a machine from the future sent back in time to punk all human musicians? I want to smash all my guitars! Aaaah!
Yeah. Look at him smile while executing stuff that is technically absurdly hard, and yet he manages to be melodically on point the whole time. You kidding me?... ANd i guess he aint even playin on his top level here, he is just (as you've put it) toying with us.
LMAO. I said the same thing on the one video where he is with a rhythm guitar guy Aaron Walker, playing 'Black Orpheus'. That poor guy has to think, "All my training is a waste. I'm not worthy!"
When you see a musician of this caliber you should want to grab your guitar and hit the shes and get to work! It should inspire you not discourage you! SMH
I meant shed not shes but you got the point. Inspiration is everywhere! What one man can do another can do, it's just a matter of PRACTICE. You just got to ask yourself, how badly do you want it.
Some really different rhythmic things and how he plays some plucky solo notes .... just a lot of different things I haven't heard before! LOL at the Pink Panther theme at 3:20 ...haha that's fun/ny stuff
@@dogvorbis I am also confused, but after hearing it over and over again its making sense, he is switching to another tonal root. Must admit that I am not sure if he is doing this intentionally or by accident :-)
Joscho, every time I listen to your music, you stretch what is possible with the guitar and what is possible in jazz music. You are truly a master. So well done. Thank you!
good choice. if Jimmy and Joscho would battle the universe would explode. these two and baba Bireli are the most advanced players within my personal influence. they are defining the perfected level for timing, phrasing, dynamic, harmony. lol
