@@nivekmendez6376 they’re Romance languages. They come from vulgar Latin. That’s why we (Spanish speakers) can understand some words in Portuguese, Italian, French, Romanian and a few others.
He's working on proper punching technique and foot positioning. That's y his punches are being thrown slow. Come on people I hope people who r criticizing him on being slow are mma casuals and not actual boxing fans who've seen this done many times with boxers. DCAFS sigh
@@jooghaloogha5589 yeah but he'd already been in many wars. The battles wear you down. That's why the good die young. Evil spoiled brats with easy lives live long miserable lives.
The1Andrew MMA fighters aren't really masters at a particular craft, they don't really have time to master one, they have to get good at everything, boxers can focus on mastering boxing, kickboxers can focus on mastering kickboxing, MMA fighters have to focus on getting good at boxing, kickboxing, working in the clinch, wrestling, judo, jiu jitsu, etc... They can't master a particular craft. And plus MMA boxing is different from professional boxing, in boxing you don't have to worry about kicks or takedowns, so your style and stance will be different in both sports.
Robert is a legendary trainer, i respect him 100%. Jose has good power he just needs to release those combos a little faster, those punches are going to be easy to see coming at that speed.
damn! come on guys hes not slow, or losing power! all they are doing is working on technic!! working on how to correctly throw a punch being well balanced, and footing
It seems like a lot of UFc fighters are suddenly wanting to try out boxing gloves. I've always said this Conor fight is going to send ripples in MMA when MMA fighters suddenly see that a fighter can earn in one fight boxing that he has earned all his career in MMA. Dana White is going to have to stop being a tight arse and pay his fighters more otherwise they'll be leaving. This fight has opened their eyes.
People commenting 13 secs as if they are the people that beat him the only people who have bragging rights over him are Conor Mcgregor and Max Holloway.
Life long muai Thai practitioner, his punches and stance are traditionally Thai boxing, but I think he's trying to find tune his stand up by changing a few things to make him more fluid, and to properly throw combinations fluidly. The
The resemblance robert and jose look alike. Jose is not Brazilian , Brazilian is not a race not an ethnicity not an identity. He is indigenous to this continent just like robert. Mexicans , central americans , native americans and first nations people of canada using colonial terms . We are one people indigenous to this continent Cemanahualt ✊
he still drops his right before punching... I thought he would have worked on correcting it after conor... His right comes low before hitting every time.
I know he does mma at 145 but idk if he would box at 147 probably move up. He cuts a lot for a power and grappling advantage and he's still fast. If he could translate that speed and power to boxing at 150ish....maaannn n
What you MMA guys needs to understand it that most boxing fans are also MMA fans, I like Aldo because he has respect and would love to see him enter ther boxing world, and who knows maybe after Floyd has dealt with that idiot Connor we can see a Aldo VS Connor rematch in a boxing ring?
These UFC Figthers finally understanding the importance of Boxing elements in a fight( I believe they already knew) it's a discipline like any other Martial art as an example Dominic Cruz as awkward has he is been showing it for years Elbows, Knees, Kicks can do outrageous damage but how much damage can you inflict with only your two fist here's one of many the challenges of #TheSweetScience
Wait so after all the hype regarding MMA in the last decade, MMA fighters want to be boxers?? Anywho good to see. Why not I say? It is weird to see small flaws, like how low his hands are just naturally low. How upright he is. How he doesn't bend from the legs. Different sports. Combat yes...but different.
stitch piana you're an idiot, put any Boxer to strike with Aldo with 4oz gloves and all striking goes not limiting Aldo and he'd destroy them all 99% of the time. I was a boxing diehard since the 80's till early 2000's, you're just delusional.
Poteluz hes dumb dont realize aldo has been boxing with the cubans for a decade. but whe your a thai boxer jiujitsu fighter of course he will look a lil off, he still has snap in his punches.!
There is a video with GGG hitting the same mitt ... and the difference in power its so obvious .... its incomparable ... I mean Aldo is a good MM fighter , but better to stick with MMA. We dont want to see another ''13 seconds'' of him.
My dude needs to use more hips and bend the knees, I like how Robert is pointing out some mistakes, people shouldn't hate MMA and boxing are two different entities, much respect (ggg voice) 😂
not just a guy. you are making him sound like a regular fighter. this is #1 pound for pound on the planet at the time but he certainly did get his lights turned off in 13 seconds
10 years undefeated original UFC featherweight champion until he was defeated by conor .. let that sink in dude since the start of the featherweight division in the UFC there was only one champion until conor aldo destroyed everyone yeah he did get knocked out but that doesn't erase his accomplishments and he will definitely go down as one of the best and definitely be in the hall of fame
Don Man hasn't been the same since the loss to conor but dominated Edgar at ufc 200 and looked good against max in the first round but lost in the second. You are a fucking idiot
I never said Aldo is a bad fighter. He was #1 pound for pound but I suspect that PEDs/steroids and the fact that Aldo was an expert at passing the old drug test system had a lot to contribute to his success as well. Jose Aldo was a notorious steroid user. Aldo has a whole system on how to win fights, my favorite is saving enough energy to go off the last 10 seconds of the each round. As soon as Aldo hears that 10 second sound they make you see him beat the shit out of his opponents for that 10 seconds and it always leaves the judges scorecards with an impression.
specialK312 "Aldo is on PEDS" - Didn't lose his physique after USADA - Still top contender at 145 - Performances are still impressive - Never failed a test - Publicly agreed with the UFC's decision for drug testing and a steroid free environment - Also has never even been flagged for low testosterone levels, a side effect of steroids, unlike guys who actually have used steroids like Overeem and JBJ.
Tomas Cullen your dumb he's learning how to throw punches the right way foo he still bed ass for mma this is gonna help his stand up Robert teaching him how use his body when throwing punches
If Jose is starting a boxing career this is great ...but the footwork he is teaching him is all wrong for MMA will get his front leg kicked off but Aldo knows that...let Aldo box for 2 years... bring him up right...get 15 fights under his belt...he will become a World Champion!!! After 20 fights he will be a great boxer! A great 154lb fighter!
With boxing gloves on he doesn't look as explosive, also every time he throws a jab he flinches his right hand. He'd need to do some work to become a top level boxer but I believe he could do it.
Garcia talks shit about MMA fighters daily. Now is training an all time great in there. Giving him love. Same dude McGregor ko'd in 13 seconds. But MMA guys can't box at all lol.
i like to see that even a champion like Aldo has some stuff to learn in boxing...average 1-2 poor and totally telegraphed uppercuts and lost focus on keeping the guard up while throwing punches. Anyways as a great fighter he is i don't doubt that if he acts humble and listen to Robert's advice his tecnhique will leap from poor to above average in weeks as he's a talented and seasoned fighter (meaning he'll grasp the technique faster than a common person)
