Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has slammed England's treatment of Phil Jones, claiming the defender was given six injections of local anaesthetic to play in the friendly against Germany
Ahh the nostalgia speaking. he was straight up a dick to many of United players publicly, which of course only lead to worse performances. If anything he's been the least "caring" manager for United the last 15 years.
@@chuckbass7276 he called them out for what they are and everyone backed the players it’s 2022 now and jose has been proven right the players are a bunch of pussies
@@of218 Ole came in and changed all the players for the better. Mourinho didnt get the best out of his players. I mean many of our players were some of the best in the world just a few months ago, and now they’re not good enough for United? Sell them then, let them thrive at a better club under a better manager. Just like Lingard did. Club is fucked and it’s far from only the players fault. I swear United has the most toxic fans in the world.
It's sick joke when England chooses to give Phil Jones several pain-killing jabs to play a friendly when he is injured really bad. Did they pay for his treatment? Or, did they push it onto the Club? Mourinho is right. Shame on you England!
@@lameckmukala1689 he's no Messi or ronaldo who's privileged with a guaranteed spot in the NT team. He obviously will be stubborn and say that he's fit and he can play
Not Jones fault he’s been injured for too many years failing to fulfill his massive potential, he’s just been badly mismanaged by so many people and managers. I’ve been a big fan of Jones since he joined the club and to watch his carrier turning out this way is saddening.
@@kasim5037 why? He used to be good under saf he was supposed to be the replacement for vidic just because he scored 7-8 own goals you guys call him Lord Jones ffs
Even it's Jose, he was 100% right on the treatment of Jones by England Team. Friendly, 6 INJECTION, how stupid it is to hear! No wonder sometimes managers and coaches have a go with England National Team.
I admire jones dedication but its going to end his career if he does this again playing through an injury where its so painful you have to have anaesthetics is dangerous
@@itsmefam8215 Maybe that’s the real reason the club stood by Jones for so long. They knew they did that to his career and felt a moral obligation to him.
England make the decision, wouldn’t surprise me if jones didn’t complain at the time, he’s that type of guy, desperate to get his career on track but if he needs 5 more injections after feeling bad in the warm ups, you save him from himself and that’s what the medical staff and the manager are there to do, scandalous behaviour
It doesn’t matter, trained medics prescribing and administering these injections, they should be ashamed. As should the coaches. Players sometimes need protected from themselves.
talking from the future after a recent podcast of phil jones has been realeased looks more likely it was phil who voluntarily took those. Very much recommend the podcast its the high performance one
Jose was betrayed 3 times by the players in Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham. This is the mentality of the players nowadays with no responsbility, when he was in Inter with old players with good mentality and responsbility, he won Champions league and beaten the strongest team in the world. HE IS NOT THE PROBLEM
He was betrayed in Real Madrid as well with players leaking his tactics to the media before games which resulted in him going on a with hunt against Casillas because his wife was a reporter(Or something similar)
@Football Fan GGMU look… I just meant Respect ✊ for this act… he might have murdered someone sometime back … I donno and I don’t give a shit.. dumb ass
@@valsan1323 what is morality ? It’s a particular system of values and principles of conduct. The “Extent” to which an action is considered right or wrong. Based on my comments here u are in no position to judge my morality. In simple terms for you to understand, let’s put it this way… Jose and Giggs are not the same as Hitler… make sense ? Again I stress that my comment is for this one action not for the life of Jose Mourinho and his actions.
He wanted Maguire. The same defender that’s currently being mocked. Jose would continued to be toxic had he signed a defender or not so don’t buy what you’re saying at all.
Dont read in 2 to much negetive stuff look at the reality bro. Jose arguably had the best squad since fergie. Look at the players he brought in. He fell out with half of them. The guy isnt who he was once apon a time.
@@OwenTownson spurs is a similar example to Man U where players aren’t fighting for the badge and the manager, what do you mean what’s happening in roma? For the first time since 2018 Roma are fighting for top 4.
There's history, George Best, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo... That's why this player empowerement movement started at Manchester United. The sale of the club to the Glazer brothers was a turning point for the club, Alex Ferguson was still there at the time and it didn't make it look bad, it went under the radar. Years later the causes of Manchester United deepest problems resurface and there's no holding them down under the water. We needed Ronaldo back to highlight them. When people seek answers, they show themselves. There's no manager good enough to hide the Glazers problem, now there's too many big clubs competing on the european stage and even in the Premier League, we see the likes of Newcastle appearing. The Premier League is the most competitive it's ever been and if there's no change in the owners you can hire all the managers that you want it'll still be the same in 20 years. It's not only the philosophy or the roster that has to change...
@@gallici-anima-christiana for that to happen we have to get relegated bcz these owners are bloodsuckers. They won't leave until its not profitable anymore
Say what you like about him, the man is an incredible manager and he manages situations, teams, clubs, men very effectively. Not all great managers are liked by everyone and I don't just mean in football.
I miss him now we really miss treated him, we’re we expecting better than 7th at Christmas when we had the likes of darmian, fellaini, young, rashford , jogba , sanchez etc
@@rockyrampersad4131 First of all I'm not a United fan. Second of all lingard is literally better than all your fowards combined. Bruno is shit, rashford is shit, Ronaldo is shit and Mctominay is horrible and you wanna talk about lingaard 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
@@iszo.bagatelleeeeeebell Dude, jokes aside, all of those four are or have/had potential to become world class. United is just shit to make the team as a whole work. They are after marketing signings instead of players that could actually work.
There should be a law to stop things like this done to any player. Players are human, their body needs a rest, needs to recover. Not masking it with anaelgesic injections.
man united should switch up phil jones, Maguire, baily more regularly and i hate the fact maguire is 28 and phil jones is 29 cause i thought maguire atleast a younger defender in 24-26
today people know mourihno value in united and spurs he is just too good to win matcges when given good players. the players he got last was at chelsea but kudos to manager he tried to inprove frindge palyers at united and spurs and today we see the results. united and spurs are too shit to play under this manager lol
I wonder if ole did the same thing with maguire, seeing as he constantly played him even though he was barely coming off an injury or had to play through one, same with rashford
This is where the Southgate mourhino back n forth came from at Tottenham he was worried about Harry Kane getting over played in respect to Harry’s usually seasonal injuries
At some point we have to discuss the fact that the players are being held hostage by their contracts. They can never come out to say these things because they know they'll get sued to death by the club. NDA's are signed when you sign for a club.
Why are people not talking about this? England literally destroyed Jones' career?! Fair play to him though, hasn't complained at all about his treatment
@@archeus. for some reason I'm beginning to think that the English media ruined Phil's carrier I mean he was good under saf and was supposed to be the replacement for vidic
