This show was amazing and it was my favorite show just letting you know you could do something just want to know if you could do 80 more to it look in the scene in the part when Joseph was being was given over to the master of that performance had took him in what I meant and when she was three way to get prison before that happened a lot of punches and kicking I like to see more of that next time you do just play please thanks my name is April Bond I'm the one who loved the story thanks April Bond 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
My high-school just put on this show, and they did such an awesome job with it. This show was performed awesome the orchestra, cast, and the narrator did such an awesome job with this show. Also, the light and sound crews also need to get a lot more attention for what they do to make the show look, and sound so good. WELL DONE!!
Excellent lighting, orchestration, costumes and choreography. Narrator is weak - she’s too pitchy and is trying too hard. I would have used two narrators to take the burden off of her. This had the potential to be a 10/10 performance.
Did you Direct this high school play ? It looks like you didn’t Direct this high school play IT lOOKS YOU DIDN’T !!!!!! SOMEONE ElSE DIRECT THIS HIGH SCHOOL PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not sure what your expectation level is, but I think you need to take into account that it is a high school production, not a professional off-Broadway company. I have seen Joseph performed several times, starting in the 80's when I was fortunate enough to see it performed on Broadway with Alan Fawcett as Joseph, and the late (great) Laurie Beechman as the Narrator. Is this on a par with that, and other professionally done performances? No, of course not! But is it on a par with the numerous other high school productions one can access on RU-vid? YES! Not the best, IMO....that distinction belongs to the performance turned in by Cherry Creek High School back in 2014 with Sadie Flora as the Narrator, Patrick Zimmerman as Joseph, and Jesse Aaronson turning in a very entertaining (if overdone) performance as Pharoh. As far as this Narrator is concerned, please let me point out that the vocal requirements of the role are far more difficult than what one would normally expect. It absolutely MUST be performed by a first soprano who is unusually comfortable in the upper register of her voice. Is this girl 100% "there"? Not quite. But again IMO, she is close enough for her performance to be both credible and entertaining. Please let me also add that using two narrators is a cop-out. If you don't have the talent to put on a good show to begin with, then move on to something within whatever your capabilities may be.
