Bellissimo timbro con le sue qualità particolari. Capire Corelli ed altri grandi cantanti con le voci drammatiche, chi esprimono quello, "che voleva DIRE Canio", lo sappiamo fare. Ma svegliamoci, per sentire il timbro particolare e monologo sincero e prezioso, che semplicimente fa Joseph, conquistando me con tutte miei sappienze delle voci, ci vuole....L'arte serve per esprimere quello, che sente UNO onestamente ed adesso, e trova la forza di portare alla gente, quello, che ho sentito da questo cantante bravissimo ed una persona forte. Se vogliamo paragonare, si, prego! Ma se vogliamo aver il piacere del canto sincero con i colori giusti, nuovi i toccanti, wellcome!
He has a very pleasent voice ,pure and soft . To be honest for this aria i prefer tenors like Corelli, Del Monaco, Domingo, Pavarotti, with a strong and powerful instrument ! I herad two years before in Hamburg Botha and he was splendid . Anyway I really like Calleja :)

Me gusta muchísimo cómo canta este tenor. Pero creo que es un lírico ligero. No un dramático. Es espectacular cómo canta pero creo que esta aria es más para voces dramáticas tipo Del Mónaco, Giacomini. Canta súper bien y tiene una voz espectacular pero...se debe cantar todo? Yo creo que no. Aunque lo cante bonito.
A few years ago I heard JC in a concert with Joyce di Donato, Thomas Hampson with Tony Pappano at the piano at Covent Garden. In the house it was JC singing that the audience responded to. His voice carried and made an undeniable impression. He sang with ease to the whole house. Why dont you offer a bit more of a critique of his performance here so that listeners will at least know what the 'shit' is referring to?
