Haydn's Serenade for Strings (from his string quartet in F Major) is one of the most delightful pieces by the austrian composer. Performed here by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts String Orchestra conducted by Volker Hartung
If we didn't have classical music like this, we wouldn't have music of ANY kind. This lovely piece is a perfect example of why we need classical music.

Just for information, this serenade is apocryphal. It was originally composed by Roman Hoffstetter, and put in Haydn's musical catalog by one of his students, Ignaz Pleyel.
