He does certainly not sight read it! You can bet that there went hundreds of hours of hard prepartion!

"Fun piece" doesn't seem to cover all the wonderful aspects of this masterwork. For me "Yankee Doodle" by Henri Vieuxtemps is a real fun-piece.

I think we should not write things like that. This violinist gave his very best and he deserves our respect! Besides that, the open mouth for some people opens the hearing channel to the inner ear.
