Here's a crossover video--I wrote an original song for my debut traditionally published novel. Because I couldn't use a Waylon Jennings song due to copyright, I decided to use the opportunity to make a song out of one that didn't exist. I used Russell's backstory with addiction and loss as the inspiration for the lyrics. I hope you like it, and if you're a fiction reader, that you might check out the book.
