Absolutely flawless; I can’t believe how well he performed this difficult song; he should have thousands and thousands of views. Incredible guitar work excellent Voice!!
I love this song and it means a lot to me as it was my late wife's favourite song. I hate saying this but after listening to you singing this I would have to say I found it even more beautifully sang than the original. Thank you for putting sole into it ❤
Loved it man! All the way from Argentina. This has to be one of the best covers I've ever heard of this song, you really nailed it. You should have more views and subscribers, you're an underrated musician! (sorry if I made any grammar mistakes)
Your guitar is no hero, but, man, you milked that song from our childhood better than Croce himself; tHE way he reversed to the chorus was "not it for me", you fixed it without betraying it.. un je ne sais quoi.. Thanks a lot. Clearly not an easy task. Our great-grandparents had no ears, but those damn hippies knew what they were about and the magic is still working. You took me to Bittersweet memory lane so gracefully...
@@JosephTurkot The Guitar doesn't make the man ! I come from the town who made SElmer, France. They share a workspace with Buffet Crampon like always. It's all jazz all around, but no "factory". It's very old school and small. No woodwork/ guitars for decades, as you know. It's always on the verge of disappearing. But whatever you work with must mean a lot to you. Plus, I know for a fact, money isn't everything when your heart shines. A manouche friend proved me that experienced people can get acceptable sounds from trashwood guitars, not your case, but I've got ears, yours is not soome overpriced thing. Pure talent or work it is..Bit of both. I'm a bit of a fan of swing and can't see "geniuses" among men who spend 10 hours a day playing. No matter what work you put into this song, it went straight to my core (part hormons, part emotions) totally by-passed education.🤣🤣🤣Time in a bottle is not sorrow, just so raw..
I'm telling you, you "fixed" soome things,inadvertendly..It's our childhood in a bottle. Nothing was perfect. We make it better if good memories are associated. You made the music better. Good work, nothing unnatural about it either. hippies knew what they were about musically, but were clueless in business and wickedness. If not things in general. Hence the terrible generation of "meteorites"/ shining stars so disgusted by reality they chose drugs. And the left ever since looked like clowns. But you revive everybody's heart, no political card asked when we hear that song. It's so human. 🙂🙂Thank you. 🥰
@@JosephTurkot Your choice is perfect. Just a tad higher and your voice wouldn't be on its limit. it's perfect as it is. Clean but fragile. I bet some people don't even hear that. Too bad it's an old song, your version is so neat.
@@JosephTurkot can i suggest the album of Maxime Le forestier "Plutôt guitare". he's a french guitarist who too knew what he was about. Same period originally. What link ? what link ? Check the "plutot guitare" album if you like guitar. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CQd7epWXc_k.htmlsi=Z-tDtP7V1MrmH494 Quality is quality.. it just happens that the lyrics are a killer..Sure were in France.
Thank you for your rendition of Time In a Bottle. You really did it justice. Were you hesitant to put yourself out there? To be that good with this song, you must've played it over 1,000 times! Thanks, again
I definitely took a week or two playing it pretty nonstop, along with a tutorial I found. Maybe hesitant in the beginning, but it's been years now since I started doing it. If you're thinking about putting your musiuc on YT, go for it! It's a great outlet. Thanks so much.
@@JosephTurkot My ex bf told me I was really bad. I told him "you always play the same s**t; at least I try to learn something new once in a while. I have no natural talent so it takes me a lot more practice... it's still fun for me! Keep on playing!
