Awww, thank so much Eleni! It is amazing to hear how people so far away can be so invested in such a good show. I loved being a part of it and it is great to be able to use RU-vid to support others on the same journey! Thank you for the support :)

I'm in the US and am so happy that someone posted the first episode on RU-vid. I enjoyed your commentary about your 'behind the scenes' experience. Good luck on the rest of the show! Hoping I'll be able to find and follow the upcoming episodes.

Congrats on week 3! I'm also in the US so watching is delayed. I sew so slowly so I give you loads of respect for being able to complete garments in the time they give you. The household is cheering you on from Illinois!

Yes, sewing to a clock is certainly the main thing that brings mistakes and pressures. But it really puts you outside of your comfort zone and makes you excel so much faster. Thanks so much!

Loving this channel. I'm finishing off uni now and i'm ready to get the sewing machine back out. Honestly this youtube is such a good idea, I have trouble finding anything I want to make as I find most patterns to be kind of out of date and frumpy. Gonna attempt the bomber jacket soon. Please upload more!

Hi Cassie, thanks. I really hope that my tutorials show a light into the current fashion and how it is achievable through home sewing! Make sure you tag me on IG if you do make one as I would love to see it. Many more tutorials to come 😃

Hi, thanks so much for the nice comments, it is very hard to strike the balance between tie and quality, as in my own sewing I feel that quality should always show through. Thanks!

+"prettycraftygirl" Yes, for week one it certainly seemed pretty hard! Thanks for the support :)

Hi Josh :-) The first episode was just brilliant! I just have the feeling that this year the challenges are more difficult than the past ... to cut a garment along the bias, match all the stripes in a chevron design and then finish neckline and armholes with a bias strip is not an amateur level is you ask me! It is also good to see male contestant in this program which helps to get rid of stupid prejudices ... Wish you good luck and always good sewing! :-))

I've been having a look through the comments but can't see if anyone has answered this question.... a male seamstress is called a SEMPSTER. It differs from a tailor because tailoring is a specific type of sewing. Whereas a sempster would sew anything and everything, not just tailoring. And no, I have no idea why there's a 'p' in there either! I hope that helps!
