AMRAP 60 minutes | Josh Bridges is an absolute animal. From collegiate wrestling to Navy Seal, telemarketing to CrossFit Games athlete, Josh has done it all. Physical fitness aside, we learn about the mindset and discipline it takes to simultaneously complete Navy Seal training camps and compete at the CrossFit Games. Additionally, Bridges explains the different training programs he offers and the controversy that surrounded the launch of the female-specific program. From fitness, mental fortitude, and family, we cover it all. You’re not going to want to miss this.

Jason has competed in the CrossFit Games on 8 separate occasions. Competing as an individual for 7 consecutive years, and wrapping up an 8th year as a team competitor, Jason is no rookie to the sport of fitness. Throughout his CrossFit Games career, Jason has only placed outside the Top 10 once, has won every Regional competition he has participated in, and he won the Spirit of the Games award in 2009. Not only has Jason held all podium positions at the world championships, but he was also named to Team USA 3 times.

I have always looked up to Josh because of his size and what he is capable of. Being a short dude I got respect for him and his abilities. Great interview, felt natural not contrived or rushed.

Thanks again for another great Podcast. I feel so comfortable listening to this! Your style is more like a nice conversation between 2 cool dudes rather than a boring TV Interview. Josh is such a funny and charismatic guy. Great Choice and good topics.

So awesome to hear Josh spell out what military deployment cycles are like and how the training gets tougher after school. It also amplifies what a beast he is! Great Podcast! He still has deployment tough boxes in his garage! My wife is sick of mine! Lol

My feelings on Josh have really changed over the last few years. From the narrow view I saw him through at the CF games, I thought he was super cocky and arrogant. Turns out he is a super humble and passionate guy. Nice stache too.

I live in the came town Josh does. He lives in a small house built in the late 40's in a low-middle-class neighborhood. He does have a big 3 car garage in his back yard where his "Fun Room" is, but this garage is about the same size as his house. He drives an old black Forerunner. Definitely not arrogant. But he is super-focused and knows his priorities. He is PASSIONATE!

The change in attitude from committed wrestler in high school to entitled college wrestling a##hole to committed crossfit-Navy SEAL and Crossfit competitor (and not just a pretty face but multiple event winner. This is quite a an accomplishment. I am glad I stumbled into your world. Keep paying the man. I have incorporated those words into conversations with my four grandchildren. Thank you. 😉 👍

this is serious question .... being sore for up to 4 days after a workout is a bit of a turn off to into the habit of doing it consistently ... though im interested in being consistent

Save yourself some time and put the playback speed to 1.25 or more if you'd like. 1.25 sounds like a normal conversation

I own a CrossFit & MMA gym. Been doing both for a long time. Wrestling is 1,000 times harder than any workout. Even MMA sparring doesn't compare to wrestling.
