"Have you ever asked someone for their autograph" is the last thing I heard before I crouched down to take a bite out of my lunch at the office. I look up again and they're arm wrestling. LMFAO
It’s so great to see a sober confident person loving life. It takes a lot of guts and determination to live clean but Brolin shows us the upside of self acceptance in his fun and fearless demeanor. Hang in there everyone!
It does not take "guts" to live clean. It does take determination and commitment, but there's nothing brave about just saying "no thank you" to different experiences.
@@HexIsme disagree. It will always be easier and more tempting to do stuff that are not helping your body (either because of easy access or other people you trust offering it to you), than living a complete sober life. That does not mean you cannot live that way, as you said, just say “no”, but to many it is not that straight.
@@HexIsme lol are you really this self centered & inexperienced that you think it’s really like the just say no campaign?! 😂😂😂 I knew that shit was a joke when I was 5!
If you have Amazon Prime, I recommend 'Outer Range'. Its second season can't arrive soon enough. It's a sci-fi, but Mr. Brolin and cast do an amazing job.
I think it's a little incorrect to call it a sci-fi, because it's much more than that -- I'd say it's more a family drama with sci-fi elements (and definitely twists and turns). But, I agree, Brolin is excellent alongside the rest of the cast. Regardless of how it's defined, the first season ended too fast because I wanted more. I forget which show, but I saw Brolin talking about his love of Westerns and Ray Bradbury on a different late night show and Outer Range is definitely a great mix of the two.
@@misterderp4566 The sci-fi of it is definitely there, but the character development is up there with 'Mad Men' and 'Breaking Bad'. I've never been much of a "sci-fi" fan, but I do see this series doing well if they continue with more so the characters and keep the 'hole' somewhat of a back story with which it doesn't become too predominate. I like the 'Hatfield - McCoy' feud. Noah Reid is so, so very good.
@@milesgillespie6665 That's what I'm getting at -- the sci-fi element is definitely there, but I wouldn't call it a sci-fi show; it's more about the characters, which is the strength of the show.
4:11 I have maybe a dozen or more autographs from Ray Bradbury. A friend of my mom's was on the foundation for a small library and they had him come speak to a group of 20-30 people a couple of times. I had the enormous honor of sitting near him at dinner twice, and have every book of his I own signed, including a couple with little personalized doodles.
@@steverogers2603 Steve, thank you for writing this. That was very nice of you!I’m Josh’s age. So I might be allowed to say that. Of course, it was self-ironic.
They only record the show Monday to Thursday. Do the Friday show is assembled of recordings with previous guests. For example the "Friday crowd" bit is a joke because those people are there on Thursday.
Wolves, yes, was working in the mountains in Arizona and saw a pack of wolves running 100 yards away in the snow. They stopped and looked at my two cousins and me for about 20 seconds. We would have lost. With the snow falling on their fur as they looked at us, was strangely the most beautiful and scary thing I've seen.
@@ericah7741 Oh is there? haha, I was thinking Brolin had zero interest in doing this bit. Colbert was still trying to do his (overly long) intro and Brolin kept saying "let's go" or "ok I'm ready" or whatever haha. I figured he was over it by the time the arm wrestling came along
"Half of us has to go away" Spoken like a true edgelord. You realize of course that Thanos could've just as easily snapped more resources into existence, right? He used the _infinity_ stones to enforce an arbitrary limit, which makes him a dick, and not even a creative one.
Statement On behalf of The Jupiturn Collective: The omission of any reference to the cinematic masterpiece that is, 'The Goonies', can only be heralded as a cry for help from a society distressed, and traumatised by the current global oligarch regime. This moment in history should be the turning point, where all who are able should stop what they are doing and do the truffle shuffle. Godspeed one and all.
One of the questions apples or oranges, if guest says apple, Colbert answers yeah better with peanut butter never said it this time when Josh said apples
"what is the scariest Animal?" why we humans of course!.. we are capable to think kill and destroy others on a whim.. all others do it solely for survival . we do it sometimes for revenge and for fun. there is not Other Animal like Us that can beat what we do!@
0:24 "Recently, Mr. Josh Brolin, star of _Dune, Outer Range_ and _Avengers: Endgame,_ stopped by _The Late Show_ and _Thanos himself_ had the _swinging Stones_ of _Infinity_ to _take_ the Questionert." 🤷 He is _inevitable._
