Ellen, words almost fail me. What a lovely video and performance of this song. Aesthetically, your beautiful dress matches the cherry blossom so well and you look stunning. Musically, what can I say? - you have a wonderful richness of tone in your lower register worthy of a mezzo, leading to exceptionally bright and clear higher notes of top quality with superb breath control. However, the highlight for me was the emotional connection you clearly have with the sentiment of the song as shown by the small tear trickling down your cheek around the 3.00 mark. I may have had something in my eye at that point too! You are getting better and better on your classical crossover journey. Keep doing more of this as I, for one, greatly appreciate the end result of your hard work.
