Let’s not go overboard. Only casuals thought Hader had somehow gone off a cliff. It’s rare for any player to be traded, move to a new city, new program, new schedule, new facilities, new coaches, new teammates, new time zone, new house, new community, new everything and then just flawlessly be ok and pick up where they left off. Almost all pitchers see a downturn when they are first traded. There is no redemption arc because Hader never left.

From a Cardinals fan, congrats and way to go Padres! You guys deserve to win it all at this point. The Cardinals stumbled in the playoffs (hey maybe we should've kept Mike Schildt as manager and gotten Hader at the deadline but oh well) but I hope you guys rep the NL and win your first WS ever. And kudos for taking out the champs from 2 years ago. I'll be pulling for you the rest of the way.

Killed our season. Worst trade in modern times for Brewers. Completely gutted the morale of the team. We could beat these teams if we kept Hader. We rolled into All Star break. Then Stearns made a horrible move
@thegman7523
@thegman7523 Год назад
@@nonyabizz3533 totally agree! Is there any brewers fan that thought this was a good trade at all? I know the season was a combo of things, a lot injuries, losing streak after June 1, and the Hader trade did something to the locker room. So I think the Hader trade was icing on the cake. Funny thing is I was about to buy a Hader jersey a week before he was traded but didn’t. A least the owner sees the affect of this trade.
