Trevor’s been mostly MIA for months and suddenly he’s back and he looks like he aged a few years. He looks more confident and happy. Glad to see him again. Hopefully he can keep Josh from setting the kitchen on fire.

This episode made me realize two things: 1. I missed Trevor so much 2. Every episode we can see Josh descending more and more into a spiral of madness and chaos

Trevor forgot the most important part of the YY! It's not just to look flashy. When you swap weapons, there's a small window where you don't have a crosshair and your hipfire is perfectly accurate. This allows you to actually consistently hit noscopes instead of just praying RNG is on your side as you yeet yourself off a crane.

Trevor is so cute. He's so wholesome and always seems to balance out Josh's chaos.

Okay so I've done a lot of experimenting with my soda stream. The trick with a foamy mix is to leave a lot of head space, at least a third of the bottle, to not carbonate as much, and to release the pressure very slowly, like over 5mins. You release some pressure, let the foam settle, release some more, etc.

So about the 720YY No Scope thing, from what I remember of my Modern Warfare 2 days, the YY weapon swap wasn’t just to look cool. Also it was for quick scoping, not no scoping, after quick scoping got a nerf in MW2. It may have just been superstition amongst my own friends but I remember it as a legitimate mechanic/exploit akin to BXR in Halo 2 (a reload to cancel the melee animation to get out the shots quicker after the melee, it was a quick way to kill opponents). What I remember was that the double weapon swap (YY) allowed you to zoom in faster by skipping some of the initial scoping animation and thus have the full zoom precision of the sniper rifle faster, which was an essential part to quick scoping. I also remember it being almost necessary after a nerf because (again, maybe friend group superstition, maybe actual game mechanic) the snipers needed to stay fully zoomed for a small time frame otherwise they would keep their hip-fire accuracy. Before the nerf they would get the better accuracy immediately on full zoom. And I THINK that the entire scoping mechanic happened during the weapon swap so by the time the shorter/cancelled scoping animation played it had already set long enough to get that better precision. Tl;dr pretty sure it was an animation cancel to shoot quicker, not just to look cool. Justification it could have just been made up superstition: my friend group would also always spin a single direction for our 360/720/whatever quick scopes because “if you spun counter-clockwise (or clockwise), the scope would reach your eye quicker.” Yeah...
