I think his kemper profiles are not as good as his videos. I bought pack2 and 3 and in my DAW didnt sound as expected. To tell you the truth I think in his videos he used the real amps and presented it as kemper profiles. Changing to tonex I got better sound even with a free profile made by sonic drive studios.
It's weird because I used 0 EQ touches on his profiles and sound killer to me! 🤷♂I can't believe he scam his videos using real amps to demonstrate his Kemper profiles...
I don't think that's the case at all. When he streams on twitch he is mostly using his kemper and it sounds pretty much as presented, killer tones. BUT, to be fair, I've seen a few videos of random people using them and it sounds like crap. I guess it has more to do with how you set them in a full mix, they are more focused on sounding good on colin richardson-esque productions (2000s metal) and people aim for the opposite this day with their mixes (lots of mids and no body on the guitars)
@@rodrisantolaria I think the same. Not to mention the sound depends on your guitars, pickups and last but not least your playing style and fingertone. Btw, these profiles works for me and I’m not biased in any way. ✌🏻
@@rodrisantolaria people asked so many times to mix a track with his kemper profiles. It never happened. It's very strange to me that I get the same profile and when I use it the sound sucks. And no it's not the playing style. Also using DI tracks from other sources the sound is not as good as in his videos. These are supposed to be ready mix profiles. I got the same strings, same pickups, same tuning and still the difference is very big. How is it that tonex profiles got me much closer? I dont know. Anyway, I sold my kemper and I'm much better with tonex and an engl fireball 100. Many sellers are using post production sounds in a mix. It would be much better if half of the video were raw sounds to have the real picture how it sounds. You can make anything sound big and tight in a good mix.
