This is what I love about comedy podcasts, you guys really know how to do it right. If anyone asks me about my favorite comedy podcasts, that would be tigerbelly and unmentionable podcast by Jordan.. you guys literally have the same vibe and ya'll are funny without even trying :D
That really was a magical episode. I'm too old to really know the work of Josh from when he was a kid, but that guy has a lot of wisdom learned over a lot of hard miles. That last segment was beautiful.
i was not expecting this episode to be this amazing. you could tell josh was a fan of the pod just by how he meshed with them so well. one of the best yet!
Honestly, Bobby's "I'm gonna save us all. Let's meet at the rally point." Was genuinely my favorite of the 3 interpretations. I am glad K made Bobo do it!!
Its crazy because he's 35, I'm 36, but I felt like I was WAY too old to be watching Drake and Josh or whatever at the time haha it seemed like a little kid's show.
@@robertfrost8264 Haha time sure does fly by, I’m 26 now. It’s was more of a pre-teen show but I remember some episodes that definitely had some adult humor sprinkled in.
@@robertfrost8264 Same here Robert - I graduated HS in 2004 and I think that is when this show started. I think he definitely played for younger kids in the 10 - 14 range.

It’s actually crazy how many similarities Josh and Bobby’s careers have.. best known for a show that didn’t pay well, being in the program, both self sabotaged careers. Reinvented themselves on the internet and now the last two years hitting their stride back in the movie/tv industry.

Loved it right off the bat and it took a while before it became clear how they know each other previously, it was never directly brought up but I pieced it together a little before the half way mark.
Red Dawn didn't make anybody look good, even Hemsworth. Terrible leadership and script. I guarantee it wouldve been better, along with the actors, even with a Michael Bay esq film. Nobody is at fault for the short comings of that film besides the leadership

It's so wholesome seeing how excited Josh was to be there. I feel like he had the energy that all of us Papayas would have if we were there podcasting with papa and the crew.
Bobby mate, the way you describe AA and the 12 steps has honestly convinced me to give it a go. Alcohol is something I certainly struggle with, especially when Covid hit but I never wanted to address it. Part of my hesitation comes from if I see someone I know from my personal life or work life at the meetings. The assumptions that would be potentially made about me whether they're true or false fills me with a plethora of anxiety. Not only that but as freeing as it is living alone it also comes with it's fair share of baggage, one of them being that there is nobody to hold you accountable for your shitty life decisions. Pardon the pun but the conversation you had with Josh was quite sobering and eye opening. There's a meeting on Monday at 7pm that I promise I will attend even if it conflicts with my introverted judgement.
Yeah this is my new favorite episode. This is the epitome of that longing for connection coming to fruition in just a single podcast between likeminded individuals. Beautiful to see.
This is as up there on the “best episodes” list. Hearing what you guys said during unhelpful advice made me feel so happy that there’s this opportunity for love and true community out there. Josh Peck was such a big part of my son's early childhood and my time as a young father. We had so much fun watching his shows together and we're both excited to see him in the biopic of Jared from Subway.

Dear Josh, when you explained how you cope with being uncomfortable and that you instead now know that you need to stay away from said situations that make you uncomfortable. It really opened my eyes to that aspect in a way that I have never been able to see before. So, thank you.

Don't be so hard in yourself in regards to your sobriety.Everyone is funked up,some just hide it better than others.I had over 10years and went back and I gotta say recovery is being able to have it right in your face and able to control it. You guyz are awesome.Be good to each other
josh has been a constant figure in my life since i was a kid watching all that. awesome to see him evolve and still appear on my favorite podcast now as an adult.
It’s so great to see another man that is as lovable as Bobby. To depressed girl - Bobby is so right that people think WAY less (If at all) than you think. The quote, “This to shall pass” is so true and always remember that everyone has their own skeletons and if there are those that cruelly judge you, they either have something more embarrassing or are about to. Someday soon you can grow strong from this experience and help a younger person through a similar trial. You are worthy of love, kindness, support and so much more ~ way to go on the steps you have already taken ~ One more thing ~ your thoughts are everything and I’m the type to mull over bad thoughts and to make myself stop beating myself up with my bad thoughts, I made myself do push-ups or clean something whenever I had a bad thought about myself and it trained me out of the bad thoughts pretty quickly. Loved todays pod. Such an unexpected ,great vibe between bobby and josh. I really enjoy bobby talking this way. He’s an interesting guy with a lot to say and share . Then add on his wicked sense of humour. It’s always a good time. At the end when bobby said, he saw all the elites together. Then thought, “I gotta get ‘em”. What he doesn’t realise is , he’s already got ‘em. He has something they don’t. He’s freakin Bobby Lee. X

I noticed Bobby didn’t mention he was on “drake and Josh” and when Bobby said who is that pointing at a Drake, Josh ignored him. 😂 he don’t want to be associated with drake no more for a few reasons 😂
I think this was my favorite episode of TB of all time, honestly one of my favorite podcast episodes ever across any podcast. Growing up watching Josh on Drake & Josh and finding out he is a really cool person is awesome, such a good fit on this pod.
