Peck was always a cool guy, and as an adult he is a really likable guy. He was good in ATM and Mean Creek and has just been around for awhile. A real down to Earth guy in my book.

As a kid, I was so upset when I learned Drake and Josh was canceled. One of my favorites of all time and even now as a 21 year old I still go back and watch it through every now and again. Just imagine how much farther they could have taken the series.

I find it so interesting that in Drake and Josh, Drake was always considered the cool guy who everyone wanted to be around while Josh was overlooked due to being nerdy and geeky. Now years have passed and Josh is the one that everyone loves and wants to be around while people are justifiably angry over what Drake has done. I think the reason for this is because Josh didn't let his fame define who he is a person. When Drake and Josh ended, Josh was able to move on because he knew his worth and didn't need fame as his identity. Drake who was always modeled as a man born to be a star couldn't move on after he peaked at drake and josh and as such fame corrupted a lot of his character and he has since made some horrible choices as a result. It just shows that a true man doesn't rely on greatness to define him, his character defines him and that is what makes him great.

Exactly. I'm starting to understand why Josh didn't invite Drake to his wedding now. That's probably the reason why they weren't so close after the show ended. I think Josh knew Drake was going down a weird path & most likely got weird vibes. Josh has been incredibly mature during this whole ordeal & hasn't let it affect his image or career in any way. I love Josh. He seems like an incredibly genuine guy. Drake on the other hand... it's a real shame. Loved these two together.

Watch the court case, it's public and on RU-vid. Drake didn't know she was underage because she snuck into a bar, he also never touched her or was even alone with her. He plead guilty to child endangerment since he gave her alcohol under the assumption she was of drinking age because she was able to get into a bar. The reason why the woman accused him is because when he learned how old she was, he ghosted her

Me too. 2000's was good time for kids' TV. CN. Disney Channel etc. Nickelodeon was consistent when it came to live shows like The Amanda Show, Kenan & Kel and Drake & Josh, Cousin Skeeter, The Garcia's. It made my childhood. Disney Channel had Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, Suite Life. Actually, they were both amazing.

I remember when he first started losing the weight, I was glad to see he was still just as funny. It might sound messed up but I wasn't sure how much him being "The fat funny" guy had to be his thing. I felt like the show just got funnier as it went on. There was something about he two of them together. It was golden. I was in my 20s btw and didn't watch all the kid shows at the time.

The Differences was that Drake and Josh had made chemestry as a comedic duo, someone found it and then they made the show; while with Jeanette and Ariana, it was just an excuse and last chance to throw away everything they had wasted with Victoria Justice and get Ariana as their next "Miley Cyrus" before she went away to another Label not asociated with Nickelodeon and Viacom in the music industry...... it didn't go we'll as we know.

My favorite part of the Drake and Josh show was towards the end where Drake apologizes to Josh. Throughout the show, Drake is presented/wants to be presented as the cool, dependable brother. However, as the show goes on, especially after Josh loses the weight, you realize that the cool dependable person has actually always been Josh, and Drake knows this. It eats away at him and creates a huge insecurity. This all comes out in the episode where Drake lets his emotions out and admits that he's inferior to Josh. This is huge character development because you've never seen Drake like this EVER.

once you get older you notice that once in every couple decade or so an actor comes along that God willingly seems genuinely resilient to the crazy tabloid Hollywood lifestyle and actually seems like a real human being. I never really picked a favorite but I’ve always found myself quoting Josh more from the show. Drake had the memorable “South Amer-ica” line and a few others but Josh had so many quotables like “SPHERICAL!” and “I ain’t calling you a truther!”. I once visited LA and I saw him in traffic and I was so starstruck that I didn’t even try getting his attention lol I’m happy to see that he’s healthier now but more importantly I’m happy that Hollywood didn’t break him like other child actors. At least from what I can see

I do think that for guy the weight thing isn't super criticized like girls are, but I think that because Dan was the executive producer played a big part in why Josh was never pressured to lose weight though. It was a chance for Dan to be represented in his work. I notice that with Quinn from Zoey 101's boyfriend. Quinn was written in the show because Dan "liked" her, and no one found it weird that she was obsessed with an overweight guy that didn't really seem to care that Quinn was around and got mistaken as Dan when he was being called out for his behavior?

Because its more competitive out there now as he is competing with the most handsome men in Hollywood. He should probably revamp his image again if he wants more serious roles. I can see him in a series like Succession. But all the ex-Disney and Child Stars alike are struggling. If Drake hadn't been such a waste of talent, they could've rebooted their series like iCarly.

Like the previous comment stated it is pretty common for ex child stars to struggle or not being in anything consistently. He was in the fox show Grandfathered (John Stamos credited Josh being his inspiration on turning his life around) and most recently on the 2021 sequel series Turner & Hooch on Disney+. So he is out there but just isnt in a long running movie or tv series.
