Like all my videos, I write these myself. Some lessons I have learned are from books over the years, but all ideas presented are my own opinion and viewpoint. I hope you enjoy, thank you for watching.
Feel free to donate to my Patreon if you wish. I make these videos because I enjoy making them and want to provide advice and comedy for those that need it. Regardless of whether or not I make any money from this channel, I will continue to make content. Your views, comments and advice is all greatly appreciated. Thank you

If only it worked that way in the real world. There is no "god" here in the way you think there is. Source can only help us help ourselves, but deceit guile and subterfuge will always win out in the end because the material plane favors selfishness.
@random-_-dude
@random-_-dude 2 месяца назад
@@LupusMechanicus The gains that God gives you aren't material. Why should a loving God reward his people with objects of decaying matter? The world will take you in the end, and if He was to reward us with an easy life, our reward dies with us along with our purpose. The world will provide you with the material fortune you seek, as it is the god that many worship. Those who act out of malice are worshiping the selfish nature of the world, and the world rewards them for what they do. The world, like its servants, does not do this out of love or kindness, but simply for its own benefit. It is a god who thrives off of the power and importance we give it. To gain much material wealth, but to lose your dignity, honor, and soul is not fortune, only a bad investment. The greatest fortune you can gain is a fortune that does not leave you, and such is the fortune God offers.
@LupusMechanicus
@LupusMechanicus 2 месяца назад
@@random-_-dude The only reward is being removed from endless reincarnation and suffering, you will not be you if allowed out of samsara because you are not your physical self. Upon returning to source your individual experience ceases to exist.
@random-_-dude
@random-_-dude 2 месяца назад
@@LupusMechanicus Then what? You have removed everything about yourself. You cannot experience true bliss if you can feel nothing. If life is so selfish, its purpose shouldn't be to end itself, and to leave this existence to escape it is itself a selfish urge. If life is a cycle, there is no urgency to escape it as you will have many tries later, and the rule of probability would state that everyone will eventually find a way out. But there is an urgency. If you're incorrect about the cycle, you have only wasted your time on a selfish and suicidal action. I find no fortune in this.

I’m a burn victim and I relate to this. I remember I was reading Ernst Junger and I stopped at one passage minutes before the fire. “Show me how you react to pain and I’ll show you who you are” I’m not sure why I read that right before I was burning but it’s stuck with me. I remember I heard myself scream and it didn’t sound like me, I fell to my knees and thought about someone I love then I thought “People Die Like This.” . I could smell my flesh burn and see the flames on my shirt and jacket, I stuck my hands into the fire and tore as hard as I could until the cloth tore and I was free. Then I finally felt pain. A helicopter ride and three skin grafts later and I was mostly normal again.

As a man who was mostly raised by his grandmother, I wasn't really taught to be a man, only taught to be polite and good. So as I got older I struggled with manhood and identity, there was even a time where I was dipping my toes in the transgender pool. But even now, at the age of 23, I still struggle but I have been practicing balancing my masculinity and femininity. Do I blame the way I was raised? No. Do I blame my father not really being there for me? No. I can't blame anything or anyone, except to keep moving forward, for time waits for no one. The way I see it, being a man can mean really anything. But to me, a man is strong, not physically, but mentally. This is what I strive to improve. Sure, I have moments where I crumble, but I still get myself back together. To all men who read this. No matter your opinions, views, race, upbringing, etc. I love you. Let's improve together.

As someone who has difficulty to express myself, this comment is so close to what I want to write here, I had a similar raising not but not because my dad was absent but because most of my family are woman, also it doesn't help that I already look a little like a girl and I'm very shy so don't talk to people about myself... "Part of the process of becoming a man is to stop feeling bad for yourself." Absolute words to live by. I myself still feel bad about me, and feel like I'm unworthy and have much work left to do. I've gotten better accepting my circumstances, but I still find myself regretting lack of action in the past, or taking so long to better myself. I'm about to turn 27, but I just put off building myself up when I moved out in 2018. Its 2023, and I now feel this fire to make something of myself, make a life worth living, and use the wisdom I've acquired to guide those that come after me. I'm going back to university, and know where I want to take my career, and get my bachelor's in. I want to be there for my brothers (best friends), my partner, and should I have children, guide them along the path, until they themselves are ready to be on their own. And I want to be able to explore this life to the fullest and be able to afford my hobbies and interests as well. So, while I still have work left to do, I've accepted the process, and understand how I will live my life now.

Yeah, being a man can be crushingly difficult at times, people don’t universally love you like they do women, children, or puppies. Love is only based on the notion that you provide something. And you can do EVERYTHING right for a woman, and one unlucky day, she can wake up and decide she doesn’t love you anymore. I hope anyone who reads this NEVER has to cross that road, me included.
@bratprica6383
@bratprica6383 Год назад
Women are loved universally? The biggest lie ever told. Sure, they're loved, if they adhere to strict societal expectations. Otherwise they're a bitch, whore, slut, gold-digger, nagging wife, cunt, bimbo, karen, for the streets, etc. Even this video and it's comment section is proof how ''loved'' women are. The script of the video is beautiful, no doubt, but women are excluded as if they don't have any struggles. The exclusion of women in these kinds of talks is dehumanizing. The fact that you even said that they're loved universally shows how understood women's issues are. You say a woman can leave a man any time, as if a man can't do that to a woman too. Why do you have to undermine women every chance you get? I'm not saying society isn't to blame for a lot of men's issues, but some accountability goes a long way. You think women go through less shit only because they actually deal with their shit. All this talk about what it takes to be a man, yet ironically lots of men's issues would be fixed if they learned a thing or two from women. But men are too embarrassed to do that. It shows how ''respected'' women are in society when men are too proud to learn something from women, that they must have a higher ultra macho manly purpose just because they are born a man. They don't wanna ''get down'' on women's level, then complain how society is unfair to them. It's sad really.

My definition for what makes a man is his ability to keep his word. I don't make promises I can't keep. I do my best to keep the promises I make. If I swear to someone then I will make sure to follow through. Even so much as I hold onto promises I've made in the past that are so open that I didn't realise I hadn't left any exit clauses.. This applies to both our altruism and our wrath. If I promise to be there, I will be there. If I promise to hurt you because you've wronged me, then I will hurt you. I don't make wrathful promises. I make threats on the hope I don't have to turn it into a promise so I am not compelled to follow through, but it's not off the cards if i feel something has gone too far. A man keeps his word.

This was beautiful. Made me tear up towards the end, and I'm not ashamed to admit that. As a man, we are meant to be tough and resilient, but we are still human, and we feel. It's a matter of not letting our emotions and feelings get the better of us. I really love these motivation videos
