My luck is apocalyptic. First 10 pull got 5 URs, next 10 pull 7 including a full playset of 3 Flamberges is a SINGLE pack, next 10 pull I had 2 WANTED from a single pack. I feel like I've spent it all and the rest of my life will be bad pulls only so thinking of retiring
I think the game knows which royal packs we want and actively doesn't give them to us. I really wanted the Dark Rebellion but I got T.G, Harpie and I forgor what else.
I would settle for a Cyber Slash Harpie Lady or a royal "Xyz Dragon" for Soul of the Supreme King.. :( The only real staples in the packs are Feather Duster and Chaos Angel though.
I had 2k gems for this after getting the Blue-Eyes bundle, an alt art Appo, and an alt art Ash, got a Sinful Spoil Wanted and a Revoluion Synchron, and then I spent 450 UR dust to craft the rest of the good URs of the pack as if I was a filthy rich above the consequences, and I even got a royal Poplar. Remember everyone, in gachas games, you hoard.
i don't know if i'm the only one with incredibly bad luck, but in the last 7 months i always keep getting 1UR each 10 pulls and it's usually the filler deck , and sometimes i get 0 URs to the point i accumulated over 300 UR dust
I had some bad pulls recently also, after saving up UR. I had to craft many SHS and Snake Eye cards because I kept pulling everything but the cards I wanted.
Dang. I just finished Swordsoul after Josh's video on them. Sometimes you have to acknowledge when Konami is predatory and the juice isnt worth the squeeze and this pack is a prime example.
I got all the TG junk from there. The only TG card I ever used was TG Hyper Librarian. I had that card for a long a$$ time by now... All I wanted from that pack was the few synchros for my Synchron deck. I couldn't care less about snake eyes either, only gotlike 1 copy of one of the snake eyes spells for UR snake eyes cards.

I can't lie, my pulls were CRAZY (4x diabells, 2x poplars, 1 flamberge, infernoble synchro, infernoble link, TG blaster) in 3k gems, just crafted the remaining 5 UR's i was missing for full power snakes
Back in the original pack that had Branded Fusion I went the entire month with none of the good cards (the Branded cards, Qixing, Zombie Vampire) but got so many Ghostrick links and that shitty Blue-Eyes elf card
its super weird that so many people got 0 poplar. i made a new acc for rescue ace snake eye and got 0 poplar and 1 wanted as well out of 110 packs i pulled good tho
I have pulled 6 times. This is what i am missing: 3x Wanted 2x Populus (i'm playing 2) 1x Diabellestar (i am going to play 3) 2x Original Sinful Spoils (i'm going to play 2) I have gotten a lot of Infernoble dust.

0:50 Infernoble in a Maxx C environment feels borderline unplayable. I can play through Droll, Ash, Veiler, and Imperm with most hands but when I get Maxx C’d it’s like there’s literally no line that does anything. So sad. I pulled Infernobles instead of Snake Eye cards and I love their design but man does Maxx C hurt. At least there’s the Synchro event
Josh's strategy for pulling was highly suboptimal. He started out wanting 11/15 URs in the pack, 23 in total. After 8 or 9k gems he had all the Witches, Charles, Poplars and Dragons he wanted, reducing the success rate of any UR down to like 3/15. At that point it's so highly unlikely for him to pull the specific UR he wants that he should save gems and just craft the remaining ones.
Well you have to get the UR materials somehow. I think he made the right call since he can craft the left overs from the duplicate UR cards he pulled and it's not like he will need gems anytime soon. The two selection packs are still in the store for like 40 days and it's unsure if they will release anything once the SHS selection pack expires.
I spent 10k on those packs and still have not all the cards i need, only 1 poplar 1 flamberge, no wanted but got like 5 diabellestar tho and a shit ton of charles and comrades .-."
I was pulling for the link Charles and got 2 poplar, 3 sinful spoils and a flamberge for 3k gems. I'm just trying to wait for Infernoble Flame Swordsman.
I had all my Kashtira cards be dismantle for the Snake Eyes card because honestly after the ban list purge it hurted me alot that I was dealing with a limited deck after Fenrir and Birth went to 1 so I made a change to Snake Eyes to avoid the toxic is stick playing 1 deck
spent 8k gems and got most of the cards (tg and snake eyes) I want. only had to craft like 8 urs (including a royal princess). it went smooth for me :)
As a yugi player for 10 years now, i start to be really borred of powercreep even tier 0 decks become unplayables or rogue decks, after 6 months when konami release a new meta deck or a new banlist who is "money oriented" rather than "meta oriented" i really feel that we need to pay TON of money and spend ton of my TIME in deck building and optimization, to be able to play for a very very SHORT time, until we need to do it ALL over again just because konami decided it... it's a waste of money and time but in addition it also hurt a lot… Because you see your favorite decks become so bad and fall from Tier 0/1 to tier 99. It's even worst when you see Konami release cards who steal gameplay mechanics of old meta decks. Release horus instead of releasing some support cards for orcust is an insult for every orcust players. In the same way , limit tearlaments while they are OBLITERED by snake-eye / fire king is also a joke and definitely money oriented. Limit ishizu cards but not Bystial is a non-sense. Ban Block dragon for his recycle power but let Labyrinth loop and recycle for years during the stanby phase is also disgusting. Old meta deck or meta cards feared of everyone in the past like adamancipator / ABC / Spyral / Dragoon or even DPE are now either completely unplayable, either bad, either bricky , cards of those deck are still banned while even at full power they would do nothing against snake eye / fire king. TL;DR : Yugioh in 2024 is a waste of time / money who hurt you by auto nerfing all the stuff you love or loved in the game few months after release. Playing yugioh in 2024 will always end in deception. Considering all of this above, Magic the gathering is probably a way better game than yugioh (and as yugioh fan it really hurt to say this)
I can’t lie. I didn’t want to dismantle any cards so I spent $200. Luckily I was able to get everything and then some. But I’ve spent a total of $300 on YMD this month. That’s the most I’ve ever spent in a the entirety of me playing the game. It’s been about 5 years, and I’ve never spent more than $100 a year. Looks like I’ll be in the $1000 by the end of 2024😂🎉😢
