glad to hear it, she is great, i'd hate to hear its all gone to her head, but from everything i've seen, she really is just a down home girl who made good. good for her!
Ahh, ok. Now I got it. :) Anyway, she explains that. She has spent a lot of time in America, so you get the vocabulary and sometimes the accent easily!
@Krazydave9 agreed 100%. Not a trace of arrogance. Might be also the talk show host who really is totally great, with a clever sense of humor - and down to earth and true. So unlike Americans (with all due respect!) who always seem to follow a "businss plan" and seem artificial (to us Europeans that is). But oh well, the US: that's where the people make carreers.....
That band at the opening freaked me out:S Great interview, tho. Something tells me she's not quite as down-to-earth now, but that's OK... I guess... since she's amazing. And I kinda' always had the same thoughts on Bush, actually lol Bad president, but seemed like a nice enough guy~shrug~ :S
@The12Child Its a poppy.. Its what British people wear on their chest to remember the first world war.. Its like a symbol of World War 1 cus of a poem someone wrote abt poppies.. or sumthing like that ,.. :-)
@The12Child Uhmmm.. Well, its in November. cus the 1st World War ended on 11-11-1918 at 11:11 .. But im not sure from what day.. officialy on the 11th but i guess they kinda wear it the whole month long. at least from what I see on tv.. I only know this cus of history class tho. :P
