When Joseph asked Jotaro if he played Tetris before, it would have been better if Jotaro said he played Dr. Mario before, and it's basically the same game.
This is a very good tetris shitpost, the only complaint that I have is that you used the same clip of a match by the end of the video Other than that, this is pretty funny lol
@@Korotan_ The gameplay footage is from Kazu ris, a Pro JP PuyoPuyoTetris player, according to the video creator. I would say Kazu ris' better than doremy if they ever fought in PPT, they've got similar playstyles so I understand your thought process.
D'Arby: "Jotaro. If your plan is to trick me into think that you're an amateur it won't work..." Jotaro: *Wins by tricking D'Arby into thinking he's an amateur.* D'Arby: *Surprise Pikachu Face.*
Funnily enough, I'm pretty sure Elle and Jay is Amemiyataiyou's signature character, aka one of the few Tetris players in the entire world that can consistently give Wumbo a run for his money.
@@webbowser8834 This is untrue. There's honestly a good number of people in the world that can match him as well as beat him, although Wumbo is still an extremely talented player compared to everyone else when considering his overall skill.
@@CasperTheRestless for ppt, all hyper tapping does is get rid of the charge for das since you have to charge it. The ppt bots all hypertap and it's really not that much of a difference in terms of speed. In other versions of tetris, hyper tapping efficiency varies.
Would have made just as much sense to make D’arby the Puyo Puyo player. There’s just something so sinister about Puyo Puyo players, especially when there is a power difference.
I played Tetris since I could play Tetris. Then I played Friends a good amount. I only got really, really serious after PPT and I started seeing how the pros spun it, and after that deep dive I really hit my guideline stride. I'm no master but I did win my very first game of 99, when it was still fresh, and I can win Invictus here and there.
Nah. Like Ness said, she uses 2w and 4w in versions like T99 and TOP; there, these strats are still broke. Plus, DT is incredibly easy to make. If anything, in a faster guideline modern Tetris game, DT Cannon isn't really the best opener (I think it's TKI3 or Perfect Clear Opener as the generally agreed on opener?)
@@breadc.8522 depends on game, for T99, TO, and PPT, favor long combo setup like 4w, they're slower games (line clear lag) with buffed combo tables. So no I don't think TKI3/FC would be that good there. For faster games like jstris I'm pretty sure an FC opening would be the best (if you can), but DT cannon isn't bad and TKI3 isn't the best. Tetr.io is its own little special case, cause of B2B mechanics TKI3 is really good and DT cannon is pretty much (?) bad. Also, 4w in tetr.io and you get bodied.
@@nessfrommother2147 That's a good point. Combos are great for PPT, and with T99 combo is just bait and sweep (I don't really know anything about TOP, so I won't say anything). However, due to PPT's speed, you can be more comfortable with other openers such as Albatross and Hachispin. I would think that TKI3 is decent in jstris, but only for mid level play. PCO definitely reigns champion as an opener compared to the rest, but in faster games like tetr.io and jstris I'm pretty sure it's better to just opt for 6-3 stacking. As you said though, tetr.io's multiplicative combo table and b2b buff is special. TKI is amazing if you're not doing 6-3 stacking. I'm not sure about combo openers in tetr.io though, since I know that if you opt for a 2wide it can give some good damage. If you build a small center or side 4w with an opponent who can't kill you quick enough, they might be able to combo after accepting and get lucky enough with some crazy Tetris spike at 5 or 6 combo or something. All in all, DT isn't the best in tetr.io. The only "pros" that I've seen use it is Doremy, and from what I've seen in fourwi.de and all, DT isn't the best in fast games especially tetr.io since it uses a t-mino in stacking. Great points though, nearly forgot about tetr.io's mechanics.
Pretty great. There were a fair few blunders, though. I think it would have been a lot better if Jotaro said he learned from watching Darby play instead of just saying basic geometry. That explanation is pretty plausible. Tetris Friends at the end is really funny though. Also the whole cheater part was kinda yikes. Jotaro’s soul said he was cheating, but he wasn’t.. It also just doesn’t make much sense if he cheated. You can’t really cheat PPT. I know you kinda can, but ehh.
