Riding the Trans Euro Trail (TET) Norway through Jotenheim was an incredible experience. Riding with Wouter and Marijn from @EyesUpMC made it even better! Make sure to check out their video's because they are really good.
Very nice trip and scenery. I will point out however that open fire at summertime in Norway is strictly regulated. "Between 15 April and 15 September there is a general bonfire ban in Norway. In that case, it is not normally permitted to light bonfires, disposable grills, fire pans and other open fires in forests and outback without permission from the municipality."
Hey John! Thanks so much for the information. We were so focussed on only going to Sweden, we kept a really good eye on the fire bans over there. But plans changed and totally forgot to check the regulations in Norway! Cheers from The Netherlands! 🏍🏍🙋♂️🙋♀️
I rode 2 DRs from 2008 to 2017 and the magically dying Motor is somethig i experienced a few times. That damn closed fuel line :D Most of the Times it was after short unplanned stops when looking at a map or something like this. I closed the Fuel as soon as i stood still and turned off the engine. Out of Habit and trained fear of overflowing Carb^^
Haha yes it also wasn't the first time and won't be the last time for me I'm afraid🤣😅. The fear of carb flooding is relatable though haha I turn mine off out of habit aswell. Maybe its time for a fuel injected DR that meets the EU regulations so we can enjoy some newer DRs over here haha.🤣 Thanks for commenting!😄🙋🏻♀️
About that petcock; I lifted off the fueltank once to check the airfilter and afterwards the bike started acting kind of like this. Made me overhaul the carbs, change the airfilter ++ in search of the cause. It showed to be the petrol tank's ventilation hose which had become pinched
oh man, i love the video! it was so fun riding together and to be able to share the love and enthusiasm for the riding, nature and motorcycles together! you really caught the relaxed joy and casual vibe i felt. like you said, it felt like a year but at the same time those 2 weeks were over in a heartbeat! can't wait for the next video!
Awsome video - had a couple of laughs after the fuel-issue, but all turned out good :) Glad you like the views of my country ;) Just for the record - it's Jotunheimen, not JÖTENHEIM ;)
Haha yess we love Norway!😍 Yeah oops we made a spelling mistake 😂, We'll correct it in the future, but we're a bit scared to do it now because of the RU-vid algorithm 😅. Thanks for your awesome comment❤, cheers!🙋♂️🙋♀️
Hey Kenneth! Good to hear you can swap the snow scooter for the bike again😁. Pretty jealous of the riding you can do up there😄. Thank you for commenting and ride safe!🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♀️
Amazing, the music matches the look and feel so well. I was booking a ticket to Norway when I saw your DR issue lol, but then just enjoyed my coffee as you two rode along. Loving it so much.❤ Dino
Hahaha Dino, we are swapping the piston rings out as we speak..so you might as well book a ticket to the Netherlands🤣. The best DR mechanic is probably needed haha. Thanks for your kind words as always! Take care😁🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♀️
@@Skidmate I've done that myself, you two will do great. I hope you share some content on that. I did it before I started my channel and I would love to link to a segment on it. 😁
Hahaha we’ll definitely record and share the content, although we don’t think we’d be able to explain and showcase it as well as you could😊! Cheers 🙋♂️🙋
Weer zo’n gave video. Geweldig 👌🏼‼️ Die boys kunnen er ook wat van zeg 👍🏼 We hebben ook no op hun RU-vid kanaal gekeken. Super, wat een omgeving daar in het Noorden 👌🏼‼️
Everytime I see a new video on my timeline, my subconscious reacts to your logo like "eeew, what is this RedBull sponsored bullshit doing on my timeline!". Then I realize it's a new TET video from you guys, which makes it SO much better. Very enjoyable to watch.
Hey Moranah! Thank you so much for your comment! Yeah, we’re way less badass than Red Bull😂🤓, but glad to hear that you’re enjoying our content though! 🙋♂️🙋
@@Skidmate Maybe a bit less high adrenaline, but I appreciate having relatable actual humans on my screen instead of a multi billion euro conglomerate wanting me to consume their sugary drinks! 😂✌
Thats it. Keep it up. Texture always. Cooking food. Camp fires. Intimacy chat.On the road. Problems solved. Get into preset drone shots you can pull out anytime. I like Itchy Boots but has become stale, predictable and not a lot going on in between Good Morning and Im tired now.
Hey Matt! Thank you for commenting! Glad that you like the video’s. We actually had a drone on hand but were often unable to fly it because of the weather (and laziness 😅) , better luck next time 😁. Take care! 🙋♂️🙋
Nice vid and looks like a great trip. Don't know if it's a spelling mistake or thats how you spell it in Holland but in norwegian the name is Jotunheimen :)
Hahaha you're right😂😅. We'll correct it in the future, but we're a bit scared to do it now because of the RU-vid algorithm 😅. Thanks for your comment, take care!🙋♂️🙋♀
Hi! If you are asking about the GPS app Emma is running on her phone that is the "Topo GPS" app with the Norway map on it.😊 Luuk uses a Garmin Zumo XT. Ride safe! 🙋♀️🙋♂️
Hi Ruben, no the sheepskin cover actually doesn’t really “absorb” the moisture from the rain 😁. If you can find a “non processed” one they have a natural fatty coating that makes it hydrophobic. 🙋♂️🙋
