I was excited to see your art journal style page and am looking forward to your flip through … does the Tomoe River paper disintegrate with too much water or is it massive buckling and pilling? I have some watercolor ground I could add but I don’t think thst’ll be possible “on the road”

Thank you so much for subscribing 🥰 Tomoe River paper handles a reasonable amount of watercolour really well. It wrinkles but dries really flat with no bleed through. However I knew I wanted to add loads to this so added a coat of gesso to be on the safe side 🤗💕

Hi Helen, I followed the link for the water colour brushes and they were very expensive and I was wondering how important is it to have these brushes, or could I get away with something a little cheaper. Thanks

You could definitely start with something a little cheaper Michele. I love the Escoda brushes as they last so long, but anything will be fine to get you started 🤗💕
