Good for you Meg! I’m now in the process of moving house and I honestly didn’t realize how much “craft stuff“ I had! I’m being very merciless with it all because thank goodness that I realized this before I passed on and my son had to deal with it all! We grow to fill our space available and for various reasons I found myself alone in a very very large house and yep, I filled it! I’m now downsizing and my interim home will be quite small, yay, which forces me to think more about what I actually use. I hadn’t realized that junk journal materials can go out of style but I now realize that they do! Looking through papers from several years ago, I don’t even like them now! Lucky me to have to do it! Smart you to do it now!💕💕

I think it's very therapeutic to sort and organize. Whenever I do this, I always find something I forgot I had. It feels good when I accomplish this task. Your studio is lovely. Love your desk!

Oh my gosh. I'm American, and even that quick glimpse of your charity shop has me starry-eyed. They're just not the same here.

Always great to see how others organise. I personally love clear acrylic fridge bins, especially if they stack as I can see what is in each container at a glance.

Thanks for sharing!!! Yesterday I spent the entire afternoon cleaning up my stationary drawers. They are just three but were filled with so much junk… I tend to collect anything that can be remotely useful but a the end of the day I use just a tiny little bit of them. So I found the courage to throw away a full bin of paper scraps. Some of you may think this choice was too extreme (and wasteful) but if you hoard something for 7 years and never use that, then it’s time to let it go

It was fun to spend this time with you, Meg. My 100 Day Project is doing some decluttering in my home and studio. Your reorganization project turned out well and I enjoyed the behind the scenes look at how you do your filming. Nice job on cleaning out your "in progress" basket, as well.

Ahhhhh this is what I need to do. I have 3x3 Kallex shelf from Ikea that has the cubes baskets in it and yes it totally does feel like stuff just gets lost in them!

It must be a spring thing because I am reorganizing my craft room also. When I get a little farther along my grandson is even going to come and help me move furniture around to a better arrangement. I think it is part of a junk journal or his life to just keep reorganizing partly because we collect so much stuff lol. Your craft room is beautiful!!! I have a bunch of journals I haven't finished up.......including my junk journal January journal!!! UGHHHHH! I better get going on it so I can start fresh on a JJJuly!!!!

Love the pink bins, I also dislike the big bins. I try to use mine for supplies I want to hide or things that are already organized in smaller bins. Otherwise they turn into large junk bins.

I love this vlog format. I have started recording the same kind of videos; just to pop in between the regular format. I love watching other creators in their space and what they are up to. 💐💐Marnel🇨🇦

Thank you for sharing all that. I really need to do some of that decluttering, organizing etc... here in my studio room too... but I'm kinda "Stuck" with all that at the moment. Hopefully one day, soon, though. 😃👍

I did it Meg! Thanks for sharing this video and how you organized your shelf. I spent a few hours today in my studio doing the same and I have emptied, sorted, put away, recycled loads of stuff in my cube baskets. I also made piles for trash, things to send to friends, and filled two bags with things to resell and another to donate. I have wanted to do this for a long while now and your video gave me the gumption I needed to start it today. Thank you!

I enjoyed this video so much....I'm a ephemera hoarder by heart.....and seeing how few paper materials you have is a sign for me to either use them, let them go and try not to be a hoarder..... I love the way to sort out your stuff and keep your scrap limited. Thank you for sharing..

I keep my sewing machine on a little rolling craft trolley cart - with the sewing supplies in the baskets beneath- works great!
