So glad you're back. Your channel is such a resource to me and I'm glad you're exploring ways to work through your depression and sharing with the rest of us along the way.
Yeah with me, writing down the bad stuff made everything worse- for any needed context, while it acted exactly like depression, it was cgd. To this day writing what I'm mad at or upset about just brings up those emotions and keeps them in my mind. I had to learn a similar, though different method. I guess you could call it the "feel it and forget it" Essentially, it's where, whenever I feel an intense emotion that's negetive, no matter what it is (aside from being triggered), I let myself feel it, as soon as I can. Invoke it, if I have to. I feel it and I express it, plan and such. Then, after enough time (usually a few mins), that's enough feeling for now and I need to calm myself down, which I can't do without distractions. So I distract myself and the bad thing doesn't feel as significant and/or urgent as prior.
Hey, thank you so much for this series. You have helped me, a lot. I hope you're doing better 🖤 Your voice is wonderful btw! Here's what I've been (trying...lol) to do recently that has helped me!
