Owning the full Journey discography, this album definitely fits comfortably somewhere in the Top 5! Kudos to Arnel for keeping the Journey sound and yet bringing in his own unique smooth sound! I hope they're actually playing some of this stuff live! Love this album! And ENOUGH of the Steve Perry comparisons already! Its only been 3+ decades! Whether its the venerable Steve Perry, Arnel Pineda, Steve Augeri, Deen Castronovo or Jeff Scott Soto... there's NO shortage of lead singers that have brought it! \../

My #2 from the new album. Arnel can write (or co-write) a rock song and I would say. this may have been drawn from his personal experience. His name is listed first on the credits list that I saw so I believe he had a big contribution to this song. Keep rocking, Journey!
WOW! this new song by Journey is so good that I believe that it would be more popular everywhere that there a festivities, events, arenas, shows,-name it! This would be a popular one! The very impressive sound of the iconic Journey musicians as always-Neal is always sensational with his craft--and of course, the tenor raspy amazing vocals sound of Arnel Pineda, Bravo Journey for the new album, it's worth the wait! Can't wait to buy this album to add to my collection!!!
I love this song by Journey Arnel Pineda's voice is so great Neal Schon your a generous. This song gave me goosebumps... We needed this album in 2022... I love the entire album it's so good.

Would be a killer show if all the members came out and did their stuff during their years in the band and had a Journey through Time setlist. BTW my first Journey concert was with you singing. I missed the Perry years on tour as I was too young.
Thanks for being part of the journey, Other hardcore wannabe fans used to bash AP for mimicking the former lead singer or have this comparison when they're both good on their own, I wonder if you've also experienced this during your time with the band? The journey legacy sound is SP, So it would be disrespectful to the former if they completely changed it, and it won't be called a journey as they're known for this sound. So it will always have the shadow of the former, besides AP voice range is kinda near the voice of SP so it suits the band's classic music. Just don't know why other fans are unappreciated instead of being thankful for Neal Schon and the others for keeping the band still going and continuing the journey when it's not just about SP but the journey of the band along with those fans who believe in them and got inspired by their music. A lot of great rock bands are nowhere to be seen nowadays due to the circumstances encountered along the way, and thanks to this guy AP, this band is still on the road inspiring people with their music both old and new generations.

Reminds me of when I first saw and heard Journey on MTV! Wow... 40 years later! Proves that the music doesn't have to change with the times! If only more artists and bands would put out their classic sounds, made new today. The only artist I know that does this continually is Sade. She never changes and she out sells them all with every new album release. Great job, Journey!

Well I mean someone said it sounded like perry. And it did sounded a lot like perry. But with perry not with them and the only other person that sounded so much like him is arnel.

Steve will always be the shadow of this great band of musicians. I never agreed that he imitated the former member. But then if that is the formula for success. good for them. it's just my opinion.
not bad. slow start and I was about to hang up, but it finally found it's legs midway through the first verse. Nice that this guy can keep the vibe of the 'escape' era. Sad that the production is 'smaller'; sign of the times.
Well,don't really know.but Arnel can write rock songs too.ever heard of Too Satisfied from Zoology Album released 2007 shortly before he was discovered by NS.
