I wish this band will always exist at all times ......And i wish the voice of arnel too will never fade....He has an amazing voice that keeps remembering by fans.... God bless you Arnel....
Arnel is great, but at this point he is singing someone else's music. Steve, Neal, and Jonathan wrote the songs, arranged them, and produced them. For Arnel, It's much easier to copy someone else's work. SP and JC made it possible. And I'll say the same for early Journey songs with Gregg Rolie singing lead. "Feeling That Way is a great song
i am fascinated by Arnel. At his age now, these journey songs are tough to sing. But, he did it very well. I envy his voice. I had been singing for 20 yrs. but these songs are very difficult to sing. Even though, I am a tenor in my choir for 20 yrs. , yet I can't do these songs.
Stop comparing guys lets just listen and enjoy the music. Steve is Steve and Arnel is Arnel they are both good voice.... All band members are happy with Arnel for how many years from 2008 to present....
Thanks for sharing this very nice video of Journey Concert.. What an incredible, electrifying performance of the iconic Journey !!- All of the band's iconic members delivered amazingly well -most especially Arnel Pineda - AP raspiness in his voice shows more when he sings ballads, full of soul and emotions, and when he sings rock songs, he captured the crowds with his energy and the whole crowd rocks with him !!! WOW ! Journey got all generations of fans now--!! Thanks, AP for keeping the legacy of Journey alive! Congratulations for AP o this 15th year as frontman for Journey this year, 2022 !! Journey rocks with AP!!! Great Concert --Spectacular performance of Journey !! Can't wait to see AP on LIVE Tour Concert again soon in Florida !!
These guys have been great for so long I can’t count. Night in and night out, they always left it on the stage. Neal Schon is a tremendous talent. More talent than a man should possess. He possesses more than any one individual should be saddled with.
Omg this is by far the best audio and video anyone has ever posted. Thank you. I’m such a huge fan. They are coming to Nashville and Louisville and I wanna go so bad
i wish this band would still exist in musical entertainment till even they are all on their respective wheelchairs while doing concert, Journey is really amazing band. Few years later all them are senior citizens, am i right ? Imagine I was started listening Journey songs since teenager till these days and the most surprising is that my grandchildren are also big fans of Journey.
After a decade of belting out some of the toughest songs to sing ever recorded, it's little wonder that Arnel's voice is starting to show signs of wear. Half a step lower and backing off on the high stuff, he'll soon go the way of the other Journey front-men who destroyed their voices (including the great Steve Perry). But Arnel was amazing in his prime, one the best there ever was!
Speak for yourself. You';re the ONLY one that I have seen say that Steve Perry lost his voice! Have you even LISTENED to Traces? To a SEVENTY TWO year old man with an absolutely GORGEOUS vibrato? That man STILL has it! Will ALWAYS have it! Steve "The Voice" Perry is by far the greatest male rock vocalist of ALL TIME! A true icon and doesn't deserve to have some nobody bag on his voice when he is INCREDIBLY talented still, after 20+ years of being away and at 72 years old!
@@user-fo4jw8vf8z "some nobody" bag? that Nobody saved Journey and he is continuing the Legacy. I've been to 11 Steve Perry concerts and I'm a fan of SP but seeing the younger Generation like my Son appreciate Journeys Songs is something to be happy About- continuing the Legacy that we love is more important than comparing who is better.
The decline is inevitable to ALL SINGERS. It's a reality that is irreversible. Why do you think Perry disappeared since 1989 and reemerged in 1998 only to back out again? He even sent his lawyer when talks of a replacement started. The rest is history, the founders Schon, Valory and Smith hired Augeri, Soto, then Pineda. Perry was awarded royalty for his songs. This marked the end of Classic Journey and the beginning of Contemporary Journey.
UPDATE: These legends are still scouring the United States and are crazy starting the second leg of the tour on July 15. I'm from Z generation, and all I want is to hear these 80's bands whose music are made with heart and soul.
Thanks for posting😊 Journey rocks forever! I love the fact that this band & the songs continue to bring positive vibes & great joy to the listening public.
Glad to see Arnel has calmed down. I saw them his 1st year as lead singer and it was just weird. He ran around like his pants were on fire while the rest of the band just stood in one place.
I never said Steve is the best today. But he will always be journey for me. I mean come on aha. Steve's voice in his prime against this man? Sorry. I'll take Steve on this one. But this guy is still a great replacement!
Big Lampar let ur God come here in Philippines I will show him the real God 😂 Steve is done. Besides the band is not complaining who's great... The important is the singer today which is Pineda. Come here in the Philippines I will show u our God 😂
Steve was one of the best to ever do it. He decided he didn’t want to do it anymore. So we’ll take what we can get, and what we’ve got is still pretty darn good!! I’m glad the rest of the band didn’t just hang it up. If people don’t like them, they don’t have to listen. Pretty simple.
@@ireshrodriguez5244 "Bad ass" simply means "really good", "impressive", "great", "awesome", etc etc. Its actually a positive comment that connotes good or great from someone who is really impressed . Here in USA that's what it means. It's an everyday common expression. Its not a negative or saying something against toward any person.
Arnel has been singing these songs now for well over a decade! Great job, but yes he looks tired and is cutting out key vocal parts. Steve is the voice of Journey, but Arnel is keeping the legacy going !
mga bweset mga yan wala knh video ni arnel ksama ang journey na wala silang ibang masabi kundi un idol nila..pasalamat sila may isang arnel para mabuhay ang iniwan ng idol nilang banda...national anthem nila Arnel kumanta
any original singer that leaves a top group, turns the group now into a great cover band in my opinion..Arnel would need to establish the group as the new Journey under his own sound and feel with an album that surpasses the previous Journey albums, which is almost impossible to do. Example, Sammy Hagar and the 5150 album made Van Halen a new band that had many hits from Sammy, making it the new Van Halen. Then its ok to do old Van Halen, but it was never duplicating the David era Van Halen. I still can hear the accent in his voice with Journey and drives me crazy as Journey is one of my favorite bands of all time, but Steve Perry is no way in vocal shape to sing those tunes again in the original key. Also, it must be extremely boring doing those tunes over and over again without making new music with Arnel that is anygood to hear. Kinda like how Boston group is today, same situation...Just a great cover act to listen to. If you had all the members currently in Journey perform with a great vocalist who could perform those tunes, then its a great Journey cover act in my opinion.
alfred macuto you won't think it's funny when this guy's in a home will you ? By the way you know Steve Perry isn't in a home .We all get old and this guy's right behind him.😂😂
Air23....what’s your point? Arnel’s still singing Steve Perry’s songs. And who made Journey as good and famous as they are: Steve or Arnel or the 1st frontman that nobody knows? If you say Arnel or the first frontman....then you’re delusional. Look, Arnel is good but true long time fans of Journey will forever view Steve Perry as Journey and Arnel as a fill in. Arnel didn’t write any of the songs. Period! End of discussion! If Arnel wrote the songs and performed them in the 70s and 80s, then I would say Journey is Arnel. You can’t win this argument.
