All I’m saying is that Arnel is not the first tribute singer that got to sing for the real band.

Absolutely. I used to live in Hong Kong and actually jammed with Arnel when he was a singer of a house band in a small club. He was a great singer then and I remember being blown away but I doubt he dreamt at that time that he would become who he is now. The coolest thing is that he has remained humble despite the fame and success :-) P.S - I actually have a VHS tape somewhere with me and my band jamming with Arnel on vocals from 1992. Will have to digitise it and upload it on RU-vid ;-)

I remember when I first discovered he was the new singer. I went on a major Arnel vocal listening binge. He sOoOo freaking amazing. I might even prefer him, vocally... depends on my mood, I suppose. But even if not, he's absolutely an equal powerhouse to Steve.

I’ve seen him 2x in the past 3yrs in Las Vegas & his voice has been this good. He gives each performance 150% & covers the entire stage so everyone can see him. I don’t know where he gets his energy, especially since he has asthma. Love Arnel before we lose him…
