Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame inductees Journey return to Japan for a very special concert filmed at Budokan, the legendary arena in Tokyo in 2017 . This concert film captures the iconic rock band recreating their legendary albums Escape and Frontiers, in an explosive once in a lifetime performance.
Opening with the iconic Don’t Stop Believin’, the band rips through a two hour set featuring songs such as Open Arms, Who’s Crying Now, Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), Stone in Loveand Faithfully. After the close of their performance of Frontiers, Journey returns to the stage to perform two blistering extended encores of La Raza del Soland Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'.

I wish people would stop comparing Arnel and Steve. Both are amazing. Steve was with JOURNEY for a total of 13 years in his TWO stints as lead singer. Arnel has now been there NON STOP for 12 years. When will the haters finally just let it rest!! Be happy that JOURNEY found a singer who can perform their classic hits AND deliver amazing NEW songs also!!

I still see people hating Arnel for "replacing" Steve, well do you rather let Journey disband? Steve made Journey and Arnel saved it. He is not singing like Steve anymore. I can't believe you people can't hear that he's singing like Arnold. I don't think Neil Sean hired Arnel to sing like Arnold he hired Arnold to sing like Steve and he's not doing that so I totally disapprove of him as of right now. When he started he was great he did everything he could have sound like Steve now he's trying to sing it like Arnel would sing it and that's just not acceptable because it's journey and it's Steve Perry it's not Arnel. What I love about this performance is the sheer joy that Neil seems to have at the end of the song. Arnel nailed it, in a most incredible way, and then signed off by letting the rest of the band jam to the conclusion. Arnel is a gem, both as a person and addition to the band. What a classy guy!

I grew up loving Journey. Arnel is proving to be a fantastic singer and absolutley does this material justice. Steve is Steve and certainly a legend, deservedly so, but I have to admit Arnel is a powerful singer as well and they are both the legacy of Journey

Filipinos are generally loyal. How many years had Arnel been with Journey before this Pandemic? What about 2021? How many years? This Pandemic May not allow them to play together., yet I know he is still with the band. It's hard to replace Steve Perry but man does Arnel Pineda do a great job singing the Journey songs!!!

He's sings as good as Steve Perry, thats says alot, his voice is excellent! Great job ❤ Have always listened to them from the start!

It's amazing that Steve Smith is such a technical drummer but how he plays the Journey songs just the way they oughta be played, not overdoing anything. It shows that a band doesn't need individual performers rather a tight cohesion between the members who play for the band not for themselves.

I was there "BUDOHKAN". when I was 16, I heard this song from radio as new song of JOURNEY. 2017, I could hear this LIVE! AWESOME!! from Japanese fan.
