It's a fact that Journey songs are difficult to sing, more so if it's Tour LIVE Concert with its change of temperature on its location and its brutal hectic schedule, it's incredible that Arnel managed to carry on the torch as frontman for more than 16 years, without fail.. with all that energy on stage, he managed to charms the crowds with his amazing vocals! it's a very entertaining performance most socially when this Concert is being seen at the venue, it's a great Journey experience to have!! Bravo Journey!!

I agree, Arnel is amazing but a grueling tour schedule will wreak havoc on anyone's vocal cords. Look what happened to Steve Augeri who used to be their lead singer years ago.

Unfortunately Journey is just its own cover band...Arnel is struggling to sing, Sorry but Arnel sounds terrible here.....is that why they have others who sound somewhat like the great SP...also hear NS does way to long and many guitar solos....

HOOOOLYYYYY-FILIPINO RCK STAR😅!!! Whoever said Arnel couldn’t hit the high notes must have been deaf! I would know, because I AM partially in one ear😂😂😂. Just saw him Friday, 4/26/24…A-MAZING. He was 100% ON his game👍🤲🤲. One of thee best Journey concerts I have seen👍. If he struggles at some shows, it’s no wonder….Back, to back, to back shows, night after night! If Journey, as a whole, cared as much about their fans as @Arnelpineda does, they would give his voice a chance to rest. We saved up $ to have 3rd row seats and, I have to say…..even considering the big heads in my view, I managed to get some GREAT footage. It was very evident that Arnel was thoroughly enjoying himself on stage. He even came down into the audience to high-five as many people as he could. He CARES about those who can’t afford the astronomically expensive seats and wants to ensure they too enjoy his performance as much as he does and, the more fortunate. I don't get the band for not dropping the key down a step for the singer as he ages. He's got a great voice, but the song is just too high for him to sing comfortably.
I saw them twice in 2011 and 2013, they were consistently tuned down since that time, it really doesn't sound bad. I don't understand why they now tune back up. They need to keep it a half step down. Most bands do it. Not only does it save on vocals but it's easier on the instruments. And only audiophiles and musicians would know the difference.😊
Having lived in the Philippines years ago I really love the story of how they found Arnel via YT. There were so many excellent club bands in the Phils and we’d have a blast on weekends going to clubs watxhing them. I was living in Singapore (but still visiting the Phils regularly) when they found Arnel. I was so so happy for the guy. The Philippine people are really great people. Some of my fondest memories are when I was there
I was at this concert...there are a lot of Philipinos in Las Vegas, and they came out to support him. Arnel left the stage near the end of the concert, ran around the floor with everyone screaming for him, and he acknowledged his countrymen 😊
Everyone saying journey is fading and Ariel’s voice is shit yet they be selling out arenas and he sounded good in Fresno and in Paso Robles when I saw them both places were packed too and loud. Still headlining events too lol. Keep going Journey! Love you Arnel! Can’t wait to see you guys soon again 😎
@@ToxicTv-ll1cu that is why i said the VOICE IS NO LONGER THERE in the first place. I never said he was a bad singer. His voice was so different when he was in his prime years specially from 2008-2011. His 2024 concerts sounds like his voice was distorted.
Keep in mind, they're in Vegas. A NOTORIOUSLY hard place for singers- always has been. Look up 'Vegas Throat". Also, this is AP's second show in a row of singing what's gotta be the world's hardest male catalog to sing in a desert. He might also be having issues with his mix. U can see him screwing with his IEMs at times.
@@brywool nah as what the other guy said, arnel's age and his night after night concert took its toll. I cant really find a lot of arnel's superior voice quality after 2015. So im just sticking to his live concerts from 2008-2011 where his voice was in his prime.
Never ceases to amaze me how Arnel has been singing this catalog so long and still sounds great. And thank you Journey for not playing Don't Stop Believing as the encore. Even they realize how cliche it would be😂 I really hope they play more new songs off Freedom on this tour I miss Ross too but glad they got Todd Jensen. He sounds awesome and looks like he belongs there. He always has really great shirts too! Marco's a good player but it just didn't seem to fit.

It’s Neal’s band. Couple that with the fact he has toured this band nearly every year since Arnel joined, singing what is arguably rock’s most challenging catalog (mostly vocally speaking).
Why people still comparing him with Perry? Do you think perry with his age can still sing like Arnel now? Lol 😂 Perry can't sing now just accept the fact that perry is now an old man 😂
All credit to Arnel leading journey back to excellence. But arnel looks so out of place among the band members. He needs to color his hair black again and let it grow some. His stature makes it look like you’re watching a tribute band. Great video. How does the band make any money these days with everyone YouTubing concerts? Again thanks for posting.
Mother Father doesn't have a huge following, but the people who do are a bit disappointed it's been dropped from a few concerts. Deen has a committed fan base.
I like Rholedz's audio recordings of Journey because they don't mess up the pitch of Arnel's singing. Other channels sometimes seem to flatten his pitch.
