This is my favorite nes game. Man we used to sit around with guitars and figure these songs out. Far cry blood dragon is the only modern game i can think of that has awesome music like this.
This is freaking awesome. I love the music in this game. It's some of the best video game themes of all time. I wish this received more credit. :/ Great Remix!
I give you mad props for doing this and putting the time and effort, at first I was a little put off my your dance party or more techno take on the classic OST but it grew on me, I kept listening to it so the original definitely shines through. I really don't care for the Mario 64 yahoo in the background though, it distracts from the excellent music (dunno if that's your calling card or something like that) it would be nice if you could release this without those sounds it would make it way better, I do like the fact that you had the forethought to not make the yells too prominent. Again great work!
Great tune, great video. Too bad DJ Axis didn't make more of these Retro Remixes. He did a great job spicing it up. Ah well, a least there's still the HVSC and ASMA to suit my 8-bit tune needs. But this is awesome. 5 stars
@shenloken2 Yeah, but Sunsoft put a lot of time and effort into the game (unlike most movie games), which meant that it was going to come out too late to be seen as a movie tie-in, as Terminator II was less than a year away from release when this game was meant to be in stores, so Sunsoft were stripped of the license because it was believed no one would buy the game if it was too close to T2. Thank god Sunsoft continued development or we could have lost this gem :)
thats it they need to release this in HD for the PSN and xbox live with this remix in it classic games like this should never fucking die and im only getting 3 things for chrismas this year this game and batman and an iphone and im done with ps3 im going retro from now on got plenty of ps3 games to keep me busy for years retro style activated.recent style deactivated
I was about to ask why you didn't redo level 4, but that one would be tricky to make it better or cooler by doing anything to it. I mean the slow down at the end was cool though. Great remixes of great and underdone music

Not that I know of but the closest you could get would be rom hacks. I think zophars domain has a bunch of rom hacks for contra but I'm not sure of Journey to Silius.
