The reason these hangers are so popular, for those asking: 1. Because they are thin so you can put more in your wardrobe 2. Because they are velvet, so that means that any kind of fabric will not fall off the hanger like silk will stay on the hanger 3. They don't damage your clothes like other metal hooks or clubs, because they are rubber on the inside and are plastic 4. Affordable 5. Look great

These were great in the beginning. Then Joy sold them and now they are really cheaply made, snap easily, and hooks fall off all the time.

+smirch Supposedly they have a coating that prevents clothing from slipping off, which is why they're called 'huggable' hangers. As if clothing slipping off hangers is a major problem that absolutely needs solving. But hey, that's home shopping for you.

Rafael Rosa It's probably a girl thing. I just saw a review of these kinds of 'velvet' hangers which was pretty positive: they take less space and apparently women's clothes - like slinky shirts and spaghetti band dresses - tend to fall off coat hangers easily, which could be annoying, I guess.

Almost 4 minutes into this thing and they have not explained the "deal" about the hangers. What makes them so special? That should have been explained first. What's special about them. Yeah she's an entrepreneur, but what makes them special One outfit on a hanger does not clean up your closet. I don't get it. Sorry. Don't mean to hate, but I don't get it.

+Michelle Jackson I am guessing the hangers have been promoted before so maybe that is why they don't explain about them. They probably should explain them every time because there are always first time watchers. We just came back from the movie. It was pretty good. Needless to say they took a lot of liberties.
